Namor and Emma defect, the Hood loses his connection to Dormmamu, Loki is running wild and now he's in conflict with Doom... looks like Osborn didnt choose well when he assembled his Cabal.

Osborn's reign is looking like its coming closer and closer to an end.

Yep, the prelude to it all falling apart for Norman. First it'll be the Cabal, then it'll be the Dark Avengers themselves, and then it'll be Norman's entire regime.

Wonder if Taskmaster is being brought into the "Cabal" now that a couple seats are open?

But Taskmaster cutting Loki in half? Not on the best day of his life, unless he's managed to get ahold of Excalibur or something.

Aren't Taskmaster and the Hood heading up the Initiative right now? Are they using those forces to try to take over?

As they say, thieves will fall out. The cover looks like an "Every man for himself" daisy chain. Emma's no where to be seen so I wonder if that's an intentional omission. It's nice to see David Finch talents not going to waste on another Ultimatum title anymore.

I'd like to see Doom take out Osborn. The heroes efforts against him have been disorganized so far.

    What/where is this from?

Finch should really be relegated to cover work. I like this but i hate his interiors/talking heads

It's on the main page of Marvel's web site. Since it's for December, it must the cover for Dark Avengers #12.

Does this mean Finch is the new artist on the book? I hope not, he makes everyone look alike. His Steve Rogers looked like his Peter Parker. All his women look the same as well. Karla Sophen will be Emma Frost (although I havent really seen any artist make the distinction between the two of them)

This image got me thinking, what is Doom's strength level compared to the Iron Patriot and/or Iron Man? I could have sworn that I saw the Iron Patriot's strength level as being Class 100 in a recent comic. And Iron Man's strength is usually listed as Class 85 or higher, along with War Machine's. But I remember Doom's armor always listed as being in the 2-ton strength level in places like the old Marvel Handbooks. Did Doom get a major upgrade since then? Should there really be a huge difference in the strength levels of Doom vs. other armored characters?

Doom can probably make his armor as strong as he wants it to be. It's certainly within his technical capabilities. But it isn't raw strength that's so much the really badass part of Doom's armor as its' insanely powerful defensive capabilities (forcefields, etc...). But I did think Doom's armor was stronger than the 2-ton range. For some reason I was thinking 20-40 ton range.

As for Norman: The suit he's wearing is probably class 85 or so like most Iron Man suits...but remember that Norman is already class 10-15 due to the Goblin formula.
