X-Factor 48 **review/spoilers**

GREAT issue. Lots of great moments, some small, some big and one or two jaw-droppers.

Some highlites:

Cortex sort of explaining what happened to him (but not to the girls) was nice and not overly expository. Terry really letting lose on him was fantastic. Falcone & Tryp's convo about men of visions and their very much diametrically opposed view points was a nice touch and a nice way to bring back Tryp. Been too long. Scott vs Layla & Jamie over Doom was stellar. LOVED when Jamie told him to stay out of it. But the highlite was how Victor reacted to Scott being an ass. Jamie & Future Doom are a great duo. I hope this arc isn't the last we'll see of him. Cortex's narration throughout was a nice way to get some insight into him especially now that we know where he's from (but not what happened to him... yet). (Clothed) Monet vs Cortex had one of the biggest jaw droppers for me. Loved, loved, loved it. Terry's reaction = priceless. Aside from the Doom/Scott confrontation and Terry & Monet going to town on Cortex my favourite moment was the ending which you have to read the recap page to fully appreciate. Genius.

Geat issue with a nice amping up of all the plots especially Cortex. I can't wait to re-read once the arc is over.
