Not too surprising, as it was probably a bit of a head-scratcher even at the time, but I figured it out (largely because I have a Super Friends TPB at an easy reach.)

For some reason (I guess to suggest the curvature of a TV screen), the panels of the Super Friends comic book were always drawn with rounded corners, instead of rectangles.

Fine, I was saving this up for another day, but here you go. DC's own PR attempt to both make it palatable and explain it for readers who had missed it in those pre-VCR/Tivo days. From Amazing Word of DC Comics #1, July-August 1974:

That's one of the comic book items I don't have in it's original form, but thanks to Roy Thomas printing the art in an early issue of Alter Ego (and reprinting in the Alter Ego book, available from TwoMorrows), here is a look at the comic.

Blunder Woman also appeared in the "Krazy Little Comics" issue called "Jesters League of America.

I think Cooky LaMoo (The poster, not the giantess) posted it...
It was Madison Lee. I actually found it. I thought it was lost in the board crash over there.

Superheroines commercial, with arguably the best looking WW since Lynda Carter.

Not sure of the year but it's probably from early 2000.
This appears to be the same artist as David Messina, who is now working for IDW on Star Trek and Angel books, but not completely certain.

Took a little digging, but I found out it's from French Kiss Comix #10, May 2004, for those interested... But the "Wonder Woman" doppleganger (an actress in costume) is only really identifiable by her tiara, bracelets, and sometimes boots. The rest of her costume (or lasso) never appear. *ahem*

I have...If I remember correctly, it was an interview with Bruce Timm. He was asked why Wonder Woman was not used in the JLU episode of Batman Beyond, and he said that was the reason...getting Wonder Woman to guest star in anything required lots of jumping through legal hoops. I wish I could site when/where I read that but I know I didn't just imagine it.

That sounds familiar. I know it was from someone directly involved at a high level on one or more of the shows.

Here's a Debra Winger as Wonder Girl appearance almost 10 years after the Wonder Woman series ended on the David Letterman show. She discusses the series and Lynda Carter and then at the end....
