OUCH! I actually remember most of these! I'm O-o-o-old!

Still, it's nice to go down memory lane... EXCEPT for that godawful Robin joke. Hembeck must still be living it down.

On the other hand, I hadn't seen the Sugar & Spike tribute in Wonder Woman. Nice touch! (And gee, Cassie has sure changed a lot, hasn't she? )

This is pretty weird... Wonder Woman meets The Brady Kids:

This is a work of demented beauty. It deserves to be hung and put on show in the Louvre.

Here's a link to a 1980 Filipino movie - not Darna - this is Wander Woman!

A figure of Steve Trevor was planned for the DC Superpowers toyline. (Maybe.)

What about Golden Age Wonder Woman appearing in the Archie cartoon, as the star of a circus act? I forget the exact details - I'll try to track it down....

I've never heard of this! Are you sure you aren't confusing it with the Wonder Woman at the Olympics episode of The Brady Kids?

Filmation WAS planning on doing a Wonder Woman cartoon, but it never came to be...

As I mentoned, Filmation WAS planning on doing a Wonder Woman cartoon, but it never came to be...

And just to show it, see this fairly rare 1966 DC ad that wasn't printed in many books.

You're right! I was confusing it in my head. It was the Brady Kids cartoon.

Though the main Sugar and Spike characters were drawn by Sheldon Mayer (original editor of Sensation and WW at All-American Comics), it's unclear if the outfits were drawn by him or not.

The only super-heroine outfits ever designed for Sugar were variations on Wonder Woman (paging Carol Strickland!), although Spike got to be Batman (twice), Robin, Superman, and Hawkman.

Here are the three pages featuring Sugar as Wonder Woman, from issues #16, 91, and 93!

For some reason, they're not coming up on this page, so you'll have to click the links...
