The outstandingly fabulous John Byrne wrote Diana as becoming the Goddess of Truth. It was stated that her godhood could not be stripped away without killing her.

Of course, Eric Luke stripped that away faster than a speeding bullet!

My question for you, Most Exalted And Captivating Wonder Writer is:

What if Diana is still Goddess Of Truth? What if all Zeus did when he "stripped" her godhood from her was make her think that he had done so. In a way, it would make sense... if she's going to be among mortals, she would be better served to think she is mortal (or as close to it as she gets). Maybe this could be worked into a story somewhere... not as a major plot, but a casual mention?

And maybe my idea isn't such a hot one. Still... worth putting out there.
