We discussed this on another thread a few months back, how maybe WW needed a Batman type of attraction to the dark side romantically rather than constantly trying to pair her off with the DCU's big guns (Superman, Batman, Aquaman), and of course Catman's name came up. Then again, there aren't sexy bad guys the way there are sexy bad girls so it's not like there was a lot of choice.
