The title made me laugh :D .

The cynic in me doesn't believe he is interested in renumbering WW. He has on more than one occasion voiced his opinion of anniversaries in general and histories of characters. It's the past, he looks to the future.
Anyway the more he goes on about the postcards and how few he's gotten, the more I think he's set it up to fail so he can say he tried and that there wasn't enough demand for it.
If it does happen, he can say he's been supportive of the character all along. And I'm sure he'll phrase it in an off-color way.
Hm, well postcards are cheap, so I'll send one in. Not sure if renumbering is really that big of a deal, but I don't care one way or another, so I may as well help out those that are passionate about the renumbering.

I think the fact he's giving it some publicity at least shows he's thinking about it. Though the cynic in me wonders if I'm being optimistic.
Anyway, I'll send mine tomorrow!

Here's the DC Nation ad in the back of this week's comics.
I'd say it's "put up or shut up" time...

You know, what I read from that, is that he'll renumber issue 45 to 600, and then go right back to 46 the issue after that.
1) Postcards can be bought pretty much wherever there's a touristy or artsy shop. Your local post office also has postcards. Or you can use a photograph as a postcard. Official USPS regs say that for a postcard:
• Maximum size is 6” long X 4 1/4” high
• Minimum size is 5” long X 3 1/2” high
US postcard rate is 28¢
2) We don't know if "mass mailing" means cards coming from one address (who puts a return address on postcards, anyway?) or cards that have the same design, no matter who sends them or from where.
3) At this point it looks pretty definite that issue #45 will be renumbered as #600. My question is: will #46 be #601 and so on, or is this a one-time publicity stunt and not something to bring Wondie in line with the respect she deserves from DC?
