I love Dodson's work. His chracters are spot on, from Kitty's playful smiles to storm's regal grandeur. That and he makes the bellhop sexier than the women in revealing ballgowns because of the look on Rogue's face.

Terry had a phenomenal knack for emotional impact. Lots of artists who draw beautifully can be a little sterile, but Terry was the opposite.

The weird thing is, Terry and I went to the same tiny school in the same tiny (8k population) coastal Oregon town. And the inker was from there as well.

I just find that mind-boggling. What are the odds, that we all three were born there (to be fair, Terry and Rachel are married), and moved back here and now all live there and we worked on the same book?

The odds of that are insane.

Even more oddly, I thought we'd be over at each other's house every day and talking on the phone and I don't think we spoke on the phone the entire time we worked together, and I have no idea where in town he lives. We're both really private and happy with our own families and it just never really came to pass that we would speak a lot, although I run into him sometimes at the grocery store.

Terry is a generous, really decent guy. And an amazing artist. I think the world of him.

Terry is my absolute favorite artist and his WW is, IMO, the definitive WW.

I have been a huge fan of Terry (and Rachel's) work for ever! The one book I always wanted to see him work on was Wonder Woman and then the book got rebooted with he and Rachel on art! I just wish that they had stuck around longer for Gail's stories (not that I'm disappointed in Aaron's work, quite the contrary! I love it!)

But always have and always will love the Dodsons' work!

Ok I am interested in this Caroline book that Dodson has, I've done some snooping around, I am even more interested, but the book is only in French. Is there any word on weather or not this book will be translated into English?
