Favorite Amazon of all time?

Starting with William Moulton Marston's book to the present day, who is your favorite Amazon (not including Diana) and why?

My favorite amazon other than Diana is Donna Troy. Its hard to get a sense of her now, but my "definitive Donna" is the nurturing caring one from Teen Titans and The Titans. Someone once said that the way she's written is almost like "The Sue Storn" of DC comics, and I think that was an excellent way of putting it.

Although the WW animated movie showed me many fun amazons in action, and I liked all the amazons in the supporting cast there, some of which I liked better than Artemis in the film.

To me, she's the one with the most interesting backstory. Here's this fiercely loyal woman who is so dedicated to her queen that she would kill the princess if she thought it would make Hippolyta safer--and she does believe that killing the princess will make Hippolyta safer.

She's like a dark, twisted version of the biblical Abraham (perhaps "dark, twisted" and "biblical Abraham" is a bit redundant). And she has this really cool look: awesome armor, a sword that she wields with tremendous expertise, and a shaved head that would give Moondragon a run for her money.

Beside Diana I would say Donna and Nubia.

Sure is a shame that we don't see more of either in the pages of Wonder Woman.

I'm a big fan of Nubia not to be confused with N'uBia or however they re-spell it. I'm not sure if it was the idea of a black Wonder Woman or the idea of an evil foe like she was introduced as in the toy commercial.

I gotta toss a vote Donna's way too. Artemis would be a very close second.

Phillipus.

My heart tells me she would be just like Diana. Strong and loving.
She decided to stay behind and fight for Paradise Island from within.
Sometimes the biggest sacrifice is not being the one who's getting
all the press.

I would have to say, my favorite Amazon (aside from Diana) is Phillipus. With such untapped potential for stories about Hippolyte's dear friend and captain, I hope future WW stories utilize her.
