Would sort of non-magical force would it take, do you think, the bracers? Are they literally unbreakable or do they have a limit of some sort?
"Let me guess. My theories appall you, my heresies outrage you, I never answer letters, and you don't like my tie!"
I have no idea!
I'll warn you ahead of time, I'm not the guy to ask power-stat questions; even if I was the guy who got to decide such things, I think the stories read better if the readers can wonder about such stuff.
My instinct would be that it would take some sort of mystical power, not merely force, to damage the bracelets. There have been stories involving bracelets being destroyed, and there was even a villain who had "the daggers of Vulcan," which could cut the bracelets.
But that was pre-Crisis. What would be true today would be far more up to Gail than me.

Matt, if I may, I think a word is missing in your post. Is the question what would DESTROY the bracers?

Me fail english? That's unpossible!
I think I did phrase my question poorly. It was more about the fundamental nature of the bracers than anything else; are they dead set magical and impervious to anything else or will a certain amount of force be able to damage/destroy them?
Trinity actually got me thinking about this, when various cosmic powered forces were throwing their weight about. Did Diana's increase in personal power also affect the bracers and made them even stronger than normal or were they the same and are always that invulnerable?

Personally, I think of them as utterly and totally unbreakable, but I'm not Kurt.

Doesn't Cap's shield get broken sometimes?
All I can add is that the bracers have a HUGE role in the next few arcs.
I have a Kurt question!
Kurt, a lot of people think of Superman as the light in the DCU heroes, and Batman as the dark. Where do you fit Wonder Woman comfortably in that trinity? I know you did, um, a WHOLE BOOK ABOUT THIS, but I'm curious to hear your thinking on it, and if you feel differently now that Trinity is completed?

Kurt, I'm one of the fans who fondly remembers the superb Legends of Wonder Woman you created with Trina Robbins. Your tie-up to the Pre-Crisis Wonder Woman lovingly paid a nod to the Marston classics. Whenever I'm in the mood for a fun comics read, I pull out the issues and enjoy.
My questions for you:
1) Would you ever consider writing another mini-series--or, better yet, ongoing--featuring the Golden Age Wonder Woman?
2) What are the odds of you ever working with Trina Robbins again?
3) Are there any WW projects for you in the future?
Who needs CoTM when you can have a Skullie?
I am Tangent Man! I do not care!
That would be my instinct as well. But as I have said before it is up to the writer to make that decision on the story he is trying to write
But if Kurt decides to have them broken in a story in the far future I will have to break him. Now I was only kidding....maybe...nah just kidding....well if I am in a funky mood who knows....wait I am just kidding!!!!
Kurt - What's your next project? One of mine dream projects would for you & Mark Waid to cowrite something together.
Hello guys,
My questions a bit anal I'll admit but it's bothered me since the tv show in the 70's. In her origin, Diana wears a wig and mask in order to compete for the role of Wonder Woman. Here's an island of Women , basically immortal, confined to an island with the same people for thousands of years. And they don't know it's her?
Do you have an answer as to how Diana got away with it?
Kurt, I love your work.
I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but here it goes again.
What's your idea of how Wonder Woman's role compared to Superman and Batman. We all know that Superman represents hope and inspires hope, and Batman has his angle on fear and and inspiring fear. Do you see WW as the middle of their 2 traits, or is she on a 3rd path?
Tim,
