    Hello!

I go by CylonDorado on just about everything I do on the internet, and I haven't been into comics as long as some people (just a few years). I only really started because of Wonder Woman. I liked super heroes, but I'd pretty much felt like I'd gotten enough of them through movies and shows (animated or otherwise). I watched the Batman and Superman animated series when I was a kid, and with all the Batman movies coming out, I felt like I was getting enough without reading the comics. But from what I'd seen of Wonder Woman, I thought she was cool, but there wasn't a whole lot to work with (after seeing her in Justice League, and her own animated movie). So I went to the book store and picked up Chronicles vol. 1 and the "Rise of the Olympian" trade, and I was totally hooked. Since then I've been collecting retroactively, and my collection consists of most of the big DC events (Identity Crisis, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, a LOT of Blackest Night, and Flashpoint), Hiketeia, Secret Six: Depths (where she has a cameo, although I REALLY need more Secret Six trades) and every WW trade from after Infinite Crisis (except the newest one). And I just recently got my hands on the first two volumes of George Perez's stuff, and I NEEDED somebody to gush to about it since none of my friends are into comics. So that's why I'm here... I'll start that tomorrow, since it's kind of late, lol.

I'll gush about the Perez WW - it's good good comics. And I really like Rucka's and Simone's as well. More gush gush.

Secret Six is good, too. I really need to catch up on that.

Gail's Wonder Woman run was awesome. Not that I'm not enjoying Brian's take, but Gail really nailed Diana's personality I thought. Tough, a warrior, but always leading the way with the open hand first before the fist. If a WW movie or show ever gets off the ground, I hope they consult writers like Gail and Brian who clearly know how to write the character.

Hi. I've been a lurker here for quite some time. I've been a Wonder Woman fan since the Morrison/Waid/Kelley JLA run.

Yes. The Wu is officially on Paradis Island now. I've been out of comics for awhile now, so I played it safe with the new 52 and tried out ones that I was most familiar with. I never kept up with WW monthly, and I will admit that my knowledge of her is average at best. But I gave her a shot because I consider her a big dog at DC. Not only is she still in my pull list but one of my favorites.

    Hi!

My name's Jen. I've been into comics my whole life (my brother's a collector) but I was never a serious reader until about a half-year ago. I've always watched Batman, Justice League, Superman, etc. cartoons- totally loving Super Best Friends Forever and Young Justice on DC Nation- and just started reading Wonder Woman comics with the New 52. This was my first exposure to the Wonder Woman comics and it got me HOOKED! So I wanted to read more and was recommended Greg Rucka and Gail Simone's runs. I've finished Greg Rucka's run and I'm currently about half-way through Gail Simone's run and am fully in love with WW!

I've noticed some above posts commenting on George Perez' run and was going to ask for another recommended writer- but I'll pop the Q in the recommended reading thread!
