So, there's this thing NEW! 5/3/13
I've never heard of these awards, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to nominate "New Trek" for anything!
...apart from the Razzies.

Civilly disobeying the law of gravity.
Scream is an awards show on Spike TV that was dedicated to horror and fantasy and sci-fi. It was rather cool for the first couple years. Now they've lost their luster by acknowledging Twilight. I can only hope it is to thoroughly trash it.

It's hardly Twilight that's lost the Scream awards any credibility they may have had - Wolverine? Watchmen? Any cast member of True Blood?
Because it was a pretty good movie?
It wasn't great art or a cinematic masterpiece by any stretch, but decently told and a fun way to spend an hour or two. Yeesch. Razzies? You make it sound like it was another Catwoman or a bad video game adaptation.
Have a good day.

... hey, waitaminnit.
Oh, and gotta love this poll: IMDB users vote Star Trek as the year's most deserving #1 US Box Office Opening
