Yeah, just seen it on the BBC! Wow! Kind of makes sense, don't Warner Bros own DC?

This is so weird. What are the benefits for Marvel here? I can see Disney's benefits, but what are Marvel's?
As long as there's no interference in creativity or forced studio deals like DC has with WB.
saw it on aol today when i got on my pc.
i wonder what will happen to the movie side of marvel, will they all be put out by disney now or will disney allow the movies to be put out by other companies and just take a cut.

Excuse me for my bad english, i've self learning it (i'm Italian)
DC : Batwoman
MARVEL : Captain Marvel , Iron Man , New Avengers , Scarlet spider
Oh, ****. Oh, **** **** ****.
I've long maintained that part of the reason Marvel continues to be better than DC is because it isn't owned by a giant multi-national corporation like DC is. Partly because of the creative freedom, partly because of karma.
I'm trying not to freak out here but this seems like the worst news in history.
I'm consoling myself that companies controlled by Disney, particularly Pixar, have still put out some pretty amazing movies, like Shrek and the Incredibles.
But they've never put out Grant Morrison's X-Men, or David Tischmann's Cable... those book took risks that I don't know if Disney is willing to take. Let's hope I'm wrong, and they'll have a more or less hands-off approach, because if they DO, well, yes, the amount of money they can pour into projects is impressive.
