Madworld Respect Thread

Introduction:

Well I just beat the game Madworld and I gotta say it was a pretty awesome game, so I decided to make a respect thread for it and this is technically the fifth one I will be contributing to the CBR (with about only one of them being complete) and please note most of the vids posted here will be from boss fights and blood bath challenges (in-level mini-games). Also I will not be using timing notes for ALL the stuff shown in the vids, since they mostly happen by whether the player chooses to initiate the actions for Jack or not and there may been feats from bosses that exist, but didn't show in the vid, only cause the player killed them before they got the chance to show it. And onto the introduction, folks! Also do not read this thread if you haven't played the game yet.

Game Info:
Madworld is a 2009 beat-em-up game made by Sega where the plot is that you play as an anti-heroic protagonist named Jack Cayman, who was formerly a marine, sent on a mission to investigate a conspiracy behind Varragan City's closed contact from the outside world and transformation into a stage for a gameshow called DeathWatch by a terrorist group named "The Organizers" as well as the issue of a virus and vaccine being released. He fights through different parts of Jefferson island on his lonesome and uncovers clues of such twisting events. The premise and gameplay of Madworld is a bit similar to No More Heroes, only with different controls, more battle creativity, and the atmosphere is much darker and edgier.

And now onto the main attraction of this respect thread...

Jack Cayman!



Yes the protagonist of this game is a participant of the DeathWatch rising to become number 1 as an ex-marine turned into a bloodthirsty mechanic of some sort. His appearance and personality is a bit like Hellboy's and like typical anti-heroes, he's cruel, sadistic, sarcastic, witty, and has little to no room for a genuine code of honor. He also fights with a prosthetic chainsaw arm and often uses other weapons as well as the hazards of any environment to his own creativity and style for killing his opponents.

For goodness sake, all the mooks he fought were: punks, thugs, Asians (Not being racist, but they're mostly claw warriors and fire dancers I think), ninjas (yes you heard me), zombies, werewolves, "storm-troopers", and grey aliens.

--Basic Stuff--

As far as feats are concerned, the most basic things you could expect from this guy would be slicing enemies of all kinds apart in a second, lifting up things as heavy as barrels/oil drums/multiple subway station seats/crates/giant pottery/tables/etc. with ease, spinning people 360 degree's several times and throwing them out, piledriving people, punching people up into mid-air, survive falls, and other stuff I may have missed in gameplay.

-From 4:53 to 4:55 in Basic Tutorials Part 1, Jack demonstrates he has enough physical strength to at least wreck nearby cars and this could also be done without using an enemy to replicate the damage.

-From 1:31 to 1:33 in Basic Tutorials Part 2, Jack casually impales a mook's head with a signpost.

-From 2:20 to 2:26 in Basic Tutorials Part 2, Jack can grabs a person and spins so fast the the legs of the person are straight in the air and throws him off by a relatively long distance.

-From 2:08 to 2:12 in Basic Tutorials Part 3, Jack demonstrates being strong enough to snap a person's spine hard enough to tear up the whole body.


--BloodBath Challenges--

And you'll also notice there's something called Bloodbath Challenges which are gruesome mini-games that our Jack participates in most levels and the recurring gag is that the host (who is also a pimp wearing blackface) of these games, the Black Barron, is always involuntarily used by his consort Mathilda as an example of how such gory and bloody games are "played" and for some reason he comes coming back every time he dies for every of these challenges demonstrated in the game. These are games where Jack has to dispatch as many mooks in certain ways within the time limit.

This is the first BloodBath challenge Jack faces and during a cutscene, The Black Baron gets thrown by Mathilda into a giant jet engine being sliced and diced into bits after finishing explaining the game, only to come back later for another bloodbath challenge.

The rule of the game is to toss as many mooks into the engine as you can and here Jack shows some resistance to the air current from the engine itself.

The Black Baron gets thrown by his consort into the way of a speeding train after explaining that the rules of this game is to throw as many mooks into the railroad tracks to get them run over as possible.

The Black Baron gets thrown into a platform on the receiving end of a death press after explaining the rules of this game is to throw as many mooks into the platform and have the death press kill as many of them as possible.

The Black Baron gets slammed by Mathilda's spike bat right into the center of a giant dart-board (man she's got good aim!) after explaining the rules of the game is to bat as many mooks onto the dartboard as possible and the closer the hit was to the center, the more points. This vid here truly reflects on Jack's aiming skills (if the player happened to get it right that is).

The Black Baron gets his mouth stuck with a Peking Pop bottle by his consort and as a result of the carbonated propelling force, he launches high up into the air and gets impaled onto the spike of a giant cardboard naked woman's left breast after explaining that the rules of the game is to stick Peking Pop bottles into the mouths of mooks and successfully launch them onto any spike censoring the giant naked cardboard women's breasts and genitalia for points.

The Black Baron gets himself stuck into a firecracker tube and launches like high up into the sky and perishes within the explosion after explaining that the rules of the game is to chuck mooks into all the firecracker tubes (as much as possible) for points. Jack just dumps the ninjas into the tubes. Nothing THAT special there.

The Black Baron gets himself pinned down to the ground and had his head lopped off by Mathilda's golf club right into a target after explaining that the rules of the game is to swing as many as mook's heads into the targets and this demonstrates that Jack does indeed have skill when aiming people's heads into air targets by taking their heads off with a golfclub.

The Black Baron gets smushed into a real bloody mess when his consort throws him onto the palm of a giant moving hand after explaining that the rule of the game is to throw as many as mooks as possible into the giant hand's palm for squishing as possible and if you notice the Black Baron is still able to mutter "sh!t n#gga sh!t" even when he's dripping like a galloon of blood like a waterfall. This is actually an easy bloodbath challenge since the hand does most of the killing. It seems the giant hand is like a more homicidal bloodythristy lost cousin of Master Hand from the SSB series.

The Black Baron gets run over and punted up high into the air by Mathilda charging on a motorcycle (you might say low-level speedblitz) after explaining the rules is to kill as many mooks (the grey aliens) by running them over with your motorcycle and boy does Jack kick ass when it comes to a motorcycle fight.

Bosses & Mini-Bosses

What's the reason Jack's fights with bosses and mini-bosses are the main sources of his feats? There's a thing called the "Power Struggle", which is a sporadic action command (or quick time event if you want to call it that) for when Jack gets into a cinematic clash with a boss or mini-boss and is prompted to perform certain gestures with the wiimote and/or nunchuck to pull off a series of moves to deal significant damage to said boss or mini-boss and in sometimes, its timing could be a pain to pull off. Also when Jack deals the final blow to the bosses, a series of gestures with the wiimote and nunchucks are prompted for you to let Jack pull off gruesome moves to end the fight. So onto the bosses:

BIG BULL CROCKER [Mini-Boss]

This is the first mini-boss you fight and this dude is like a humanoid boar of giant stature with a mask and a double chainsaw to give you hell.

Here are two vids to show Jack in action against him, since the first vid is to show you his first appearance and the second (which is the same Man Darts vid you have seen earlier) is to show you an instant in which a power struggle has been used against this guy.

-From 1:38 to 2:06 in the first vid, Jack takes on the Big Bull Crocker for the first time.

-From 0:45 to 1:00 in the second vid, Jack takes on the Big Bull Crocker through his first power struggle: Going toe-to-toe with Crocker's Double Chainsaw in a physical struggle with Jack eventually overpowering him, despite his opponent's size, and disarming his double chainsaw before decapitating his head off nice and easy.

LITTLE EDDIE [Boss]



This is the first real boss that you, Jack, has to fight and he's a monstrously large mutant who gets carried around on a train cargo bed and uses a giant ball-and-chain as a signature weapon.

-From 0:30 to 0:38, Little Eddie tosses a cargo bed he woke up from at Jack and Jack activates his chainsaw arm in time and casually slices it in half like butter as an opening feat of the sheer cutting power of his chainsaw.

-From 1:06 to 1:09, (Gameplay feat) Jack survives getting smashed by Little Eddie's ass on the virtue of the latter's huge size.

-From 1:29 to 1:38, (Gameplay feat) Jack resists getting slammed by Little Eddie's ball-and-chain and I think one of the commentators commented on how Jack wasn't apparently hurt, despite his health meter going down a bit.

-From 3:49 to 3:52, Little Eddie shatters a ceiling construct from above in one swing, even though this isn't particularly THAT impressive, it still shows a bit of his destructive power.

-From 3:54 to 4:10, Jack finally gets into a power struggle with Little Eddie when Little Eddie grabs Jack in his hand trying to squish him with Jack struggling to break free and Jack overpowers Little Eddie's grip with both arms and jumps up high into the air and rams his chainsaw right into Little Eddie's face. Ooh... Poor Eddie. I really feel sorry for his face right now.

-From 4:13 to 4:33, Jack grabs Little Eddie's ball-and-chain and swings it progressively quickly around in full circles several times to hit him and uppercuts Little Eddie's head with it and finally slams it in his face from above to deal the coup de grace on the oversized brute. Thus that ends the first boss fight. Rest in Peace, Little Eddie.

JUDE THE DUDE [Boss]



Now this is where one of the best fights in the game take place and in case you haven't already figured, Jude the Dude is a speedy roller-bladed cowboy with twin revolvers with a thick southern accent. When he fires his revolvers, the bullets may seem a bit slow, but its actual speed might have been slowed down from gameplay purposes.

-From 1:08 to 1:11, (Gameplay feat) Jack tanks several revolver bullets being fired at him at relatively close range.

-From 1:37 to 1:40, (Gameplay feat) Though this may depend on the player, Jack is at least an aimdodger when running from gunshots. Although this wasn't shown in the vid, Jack could dodge bullets from Jude's guns if you did the nunchuck swinging motion enough times.

-From 1:55 to 2:09, Jack gets into a power struggle with Jude the Dude and when Jude vertically fired two bullets from his revolver, Jack quickly reacts to them by slicing said bullets in half with his chainsaw when they were about to get a feet near him (twice) and when Jude fired two more bullets (only this time horizontally), Jack swiftly evades them with a backflip/somersault falling onto the ground. Yup this is the first and only instance in the entire game where Jack shows bullet-timing reflexes/skills, and some pretty cool ones at that.

-From 2:19 to 2:36, Jack gets into a second power struggle with Jude the Dude and like last time, Jack easily slices all of Jude's bullets down in each succession (even the horizontal ones, which unlike the first time, he didn't bother to evade them) and finally moves in close at Jude and hacks him twice with his chainsaw arm. Damn son!

-From 3:00 to 3:23. Oh boy this is where Jack's epic badassness comes in: Jack proceeds to deal the fatality to Jude by getting behind him, stealing his revolvers, taking his first shot to push Jude back a feet, and finally a lopsided blood-spilling shoot-out ensues as Jack repeatedly fires at him with each series of progressively faster gunshots until Jude was reduced to a skeleton and Jack fires his final shot to blow up the skeleton thus leaving Jude's remains into nothing more than a skull with a nice cowboy hat lying on the ground. Ooh boy, all I can say is that I both admire Jack for his badass finish AND dearly sympathize for poor Jude as he's somewhere in a cowboy's afterlife right now. And lesson #1, never give guns to Jack for he'd reduce anyone to a skeleton with them.

HERR FREDERICK VON TWIRLENKILLER [Boss]

TWirlenkiller is sure to be a thriller when it comes to chucking tornados and a german-accented one-liner at you while fighting him in the middle of a bridge.

-Circa 0:20, Twirlenkiller creates a raging tornado by slamming his fist onto the ground.

-From 0:44 to 0:49, (Gameplay feat) Jack gets caught in a tornado by Twirlenkiller and survives a fall of such height without significant injury.

-From 1:37 to 1:56, Jack gets into a power struggle with Twirlenkiller starting when he gets his leg grabbed by Twirlenkiller while being surrounded by the tornado's pressure and Jack's chainsaw arm is at odds with Twirlenkiller's arm eventually overpowering him and uses the upward momentum of the tornado to jump into the air and land on Twirlenkiller's shoulder and proceeds to dismember his arm with his chainsaw. Thus Jack takes off Twirlenkiller's arm and lands back on the ground safely. Despite having only one arm left, Twirlenkiller is actually capable of doing just as much damage with his tornadoes if not more.

-From 2:26 to 2:45, Jack gets into a second power struggle with the both of them throwing each other off balance a little with their respective arms/weapons and like last time Twirlenkiller surrounds Jack inside a rising tornado grabbing his leg and Jack struggles with Twirlenkiller's other arm with his chainsaw and gets himself up into the air and down on Twirlenkiller's shoulder and dismembers another arm from him falling down.

-From 2:51 to 3:08, Jack gets in close to an armless Twirlenkiller and uppercuts him really high up into the air (it shows that Jack is THAT physically strong with his arm) and then when Twirlenkiller is about to descend to the ground, Jack uses the tornado-producing blades of one of his dismembered arms to chop him into bloody bits like the bottom of a blender. Man how brutal is that.

The rest of the vid is just a cutscene irrelevant to the boss fight, but rather advances the plot as usual, so you can just stop there if you want to.

YEE FUNG [Mini-Boss]

Yee Fung is a chubby chinese warrior in a beetle armor whom Jack faces at the top of a building in Asian Town and his signature attack is a grinding spin-attack similar to that of Sonic's.

-From 1:08 to 1:13, Yee Fung spins fast enough to roll over a half-pipe and come down like Sonic the Hedgehog does.

-From 1:17 to 1:35, Jack gets into a power struggle with Yee Fung and they both clash at each other with Jack attemping to push him over with his chainsaw arm while Yee Fung repeatedly spins at him and eventually Jack gets him to spin up and onto his chainsaw and Yee Fung bounces up and when he was about to hit the ground, Jack swipes him with his chainsaw arm thus pushing him several feet back before causing his own suit to electrocute itself and Jack gets the Turtle Orb as a reward.

The rest of the vid is just a walkthrough on the Great Wall Street level, nothing much to see here, so just move on.

RIN RIN [Boss]



Rin Rin is that crazy oriental-themed lady with deadly fans as her choice weapons to throw at you in the fashion of boomerangs and she's the first boss of Asian Town.

-From 1:36 to 1:42, I'm not too sure about this, but Jack dodges three boomerangs coming at him by surprise.

-Circa 4:05, (Gameplay feat) Not sure about this one either, but Jack dodges a boomerang from Rin Rin. Though this wasn't shown in the vid, Jack can easily dodge three boomerangs thrown at him, if you use the nunchuck swing each time.

-From 4:57 to 5:15, Power struggle with Rin Rin: Jack tries to hit her with the chainsaw, but Rin Rin avoids by jumping up and pins Jack to the floor and uses her blades to try and bisect him as Jack struggles to break free, which he does and kicks Rin Rin right onto a broken giant tv screen of some sort, thus electrocuting her for several seconds.

-From 5:56 to 6:17, Jack finishes off Rin Rin by grabbing her legs and spinning her long enough to throw her onto a giant plate from an advertising billboard in which an animatronic fascimile of Yee Fung grabs her with chopsticks and chews her to her death. Holy crap.

TENGU [Mini-Boss]

Tengu is like a liutenant ninja sent out to attack you with hooks as his choice weapons and boy does he have some nasty tricks up his sleeves backed up his squad of mook ninjas.

-From 1:29 to 1:32, Tengu apparently shows short-distance teleporting.

-Circa 1:46, Tengu can make multiple copies of himself.

-From 1:50 to 1:53, Jack finishes off Tengu by quickly slicing and dicing him into pieces like a blender with a spear.

SHOGUN [Boss]

Shogun is a huge brawling brute with a huge double-edged weapon that he ain't afraid to use and this guy can take quite a lot of punishment compared to the past bosses Jack has faced.

-From 1:32 to 1:38, when Shogun was about to slash Jack with his blade, Jack nimbly jumps high up into the air like a ninja, and when Shogun was about to swipe him Jack quickly evades slightly faster than the eye could see.

-Circa 2:00, this may be a minor feat, but Shogun knocked a wall down with a small gesture.

-From 2:52 to 3:07, Jack enters into Power Struggle: Jack clashes with Shogun and when Shogun is about to hit him from the back, Jack immediately blocks Shogun's weapon and then blocks Shogun's weapon from his side and eventually gets onto the platform of Shogun's weapon and slices him (or a chunk of his armor) for a decent hit.

-Circa 3:42, (Gameplay feat) Jack slices off another chunk of Shogun's armor with a vertical slash from his chainsaw.

-From 4:12 to 4:15, (Gameplay feat) Jack dodges a fast series of swipes and slashes from Shogun's weapon up close.

-Circa 4:24, Shogun gets all the way up onto the roof in a single jump.

-From 4:35 to 4:46, Jack finishes off Shogun by using Shogun's own personal weapon to bifurcate his flesh and swing him around to get him land onto a spike, impaled and writhing in bloody pain before hitting the dust.

YOKOZUNA [Boss]



Yokozuna is an elderly musclebound sumo wrestler named after a title for highly prestigious sumo wrestlers and uses mostly brute strength to his advantage.

-Circa 1:39, Yokozuna's stomp was hard enough to reveal large cracks on the ground.

-From 2:49 to 3:08, Jack enters the 1st Power Struggle: Yokozuna attempts to knock Jack back onto the ground, but Jack gets back on his feet and charges at Yokozuna repeatedly punching him back until Yokozuna is near the outskirts of the ring and when Yokozuna is about to smack Jack, but misses and Jack punts him onto a pile of sharp objects, which Yokozuna somehow survives for the sake of round 2.

-From 3:53 to 4:13, Jack enters the 2nd Power Struggle: Same as above, except Yokozuna lands on an electric generator and gets electorcuted and again survives for round 3.

-From 4:28 to 4:37, Yokozuna lets out a howling scream and jumps high up into the sky latching onto a helicopter and brings it down into the arena attempting to hit Jack, but Jack dodges anyway. If you choose not to dodge it, Jack would survive it, but not without some damage (Gameplay feat).

-From 5:25 to 5:27, (Gameplay feat) Yokozuna is still able to jump high up into the air for a helicopter bomb despite being cut by Jack's chainsaw twice before he takes off.

-From 5:39 to 6:07, JAck enters the 3rd and final Power Struggle: Same as the past two power struggles, except Yokozuna gets punted into a cannon and shot out of it landing into the pit of a volcano which erupts.

DEATH BLADE [Mini-Boss]



Death Blade is the resident grim reaper/death incarnate of Madworld and usually appears when a zombie grabs Jack in a power struggle and lastly this guy can kill you in one hit with his scythe. Note I will be using a vid of the Courtyard level (HARD) for the Death Blade scenes and one audio commentary from the video maker as well.

-From 5:36 to 6:02, not a feat per se, but this is the cutscene where Death Blade comes roller skating into the arena for a warm greeting.

-From 7:17 to 7:22, Death Blade shows up via materializing like a symbiote.

-From 8:02 to 8:40, Like I hinted earlier, this isn't really part of the game, but the maker of the vid states that if you "kill" Death Blade, he would actually respawn later and usually when you grab a zombie and that you must move out of the way before Death Blade immobilizes you or something and this is true.

As for the scene where Jack actually faces Death Blade in a power struggle, it's kinda hard for me to find the scenes and plus there would be a bit of a spoilers as well. But nonetheless, it's badass to know that Jack went toe-to-toe against Death for a mini-boss.

THE SHAMANS [Boss]



The Shamans are a group of savage werewolves that you fight as a collective boss with one being the ring leader and the other being his henchmen.

-From 0:45 to 0:50, the ringleader of The Shamans uses his henchmen as a spinning weapon and a single-wheeled transportation of some sort.

-From 2:03 to 2:33, Jack enters his first Power Struggle: Jack tries to hit the ringleader Shaman, but gets kicked back several feet and the Shaman summons two of his henchmen to charge at Jack, which Jack easily slices both of them at the same time, and then the ringleader Shaman charges at Jack and Jack stops him dead in his tracks and kicks him multiple with each one being faster/harder than the last and finally beats him down with either his feet or chainsaw arm (I couldn't see what was happening in the vid perfectly).

-From 3:45 to 4:01, Jack enters a second Power Struggle: The first half is the same as above, except the ringleader Shaman gets two of his henchmen to charge at Jack in a vertical line and they spin-jump onto Jack, which Jack jumps just a little higher than them and cleaves them both in half at once and then two more henchmen are summoned to charge at Jack in a horizontal line, which Jack fails to counter and dies, ONLY due to the player not reacting in time and also being low on health on a hard difficulty, so you can disregard the last part as the player's fault for being a falling prey to gameplay mechanics.

-From 5:36 to 6:34, Jack enters yet a fifth Power Struggle (Note: I excluded the 3rd and 4th because the player kept dying from the horizontally charging shamans): The same shit happens, except the player succeeds only due to all the charging shamans being vertical like about four times in a row and as usual Jack beats on the ringleader Shaman like a jock beats on a nerd.

-From 6:39 to 7:05, Jack finishes off the Shaman by putting a collar on him with its chains attached to his motorcyle and spins around multiple times to use the friction of the ground to kill the Shaman and drives out of the arena with his head remaining. Ooh Fatality.

BIG LONG DRILLER [Mini-Boss]

Big Long Driller is like the Big Bull Crockers except he's like much bigger than them and his mask has tusks and has a giant-ass drill he uses to borrow underground and kill enemies with. This guy is a bitch to kill, trust me. But I won't be posting a vid for the power struggle, since it's pretty the same as Big Bull Crocker's and it's time-consuming for me.

-From 4:41 to 4:48, the Big Long Driller drills through concrete walls and shows up.

FRANK [Boss]

Frank is this giant frankenstein that is like as tall as a house and has electric powers and brute strength in his favor. He also has an electric chair that he can go to replinish his health as long as he has the bolts on to protect him from electrocution.

-Circa 1:49, (gameplay feat) Frank gets hit by an explosive barrel to the face and doesn't flinch at all, but still gets hurt a little.

-Circa 2:26, Frank creates a shockwave in the water that Jack is in.

-From 2:41 to 3:01, Jack enters a power struggle: Jack gets on Frank's shoulder and unscrews the top left bolt of Frank's body and then easily pulls another one at the bottom of the first one and it should be noted that those bolts are the size of file cabinets, which demonstrate yet another decent strength feat from Jack.

-Circa 3:37, (gameplay feat) Jack tanks an electric shockwave from Frank while he was submerged in water.

-Circa 3:51, Jack smacked Frank's face effectively irritating it with his spike bat, despite being bigger than him. Not sure if this qualifies as a real feat.

-From 4:09 to 4:28, Jack enters another power struggle: Jack unscrews another bolt and then easily pulls off the last one off Frank's body. Same old same old.

-From 4:32 to 4:57, Jack finishes off Frank by running to him and kicking him all the to seat of his electric chair from several feet away and quickly turns the crank up to electrocute Frank killing him thanks to his loss of bolts. And thus this is another example of a feat where Jack physically overpowers an opponents at least 5 times larger than him.

ELISE [Boss]



Elise is a scantily clad succubus who uses her army of bats as her shield and weapon and man is she a too bit flirty.

-From 0:24 to 0:28, Jack fights a small army of bats and manages to fend them off a bit despite like dozens of them being in his face, though is a minor feat in itself.

-Circa 1:53, Elise disappears from Jack's sight without a trace and pretty fast too. This immediately turns into a cat and mouse game.

-From 2:16 to 2:34, Jack enters a power struggle: Jack overpowers Elise's grip and puts his face close to Elise's tits only to headbutt her and knock her back a few feet with his chainsaw arm. I gotta say WTF! in a good way.

-From 2:39 to 2:46, Elise is still capable of striking back at her opponents even without a single bat to aid her.

-Circa 2:50, Elise disperses into dozens of bats the moment Jack hits her with his chainsaw.

-From 3:02 to 3:19, Jack enters another power struggle and it's pretty the same thing.

-From 3:27 to 3:50, Elise uses her army of bats to attack Jack. Not a large feat or anything, but it just shows you what Elise does with her bloodthirsty bats.

-From 3:52 to 4:19, Jack finishes off Elise in the least brutal (compared to other bosses), yet most hilariously epic way possbile. Jack treads towards Elise and cuts off her wings, grabs her, and spanks her ass 4 times, which the last one results in her flying through a tapestry glass window near the ceiling and falling down to her death. Lesson #2, never pit hot succubus chicks against Jack for he will send them sky-high with a spank to the booty!

KOJACK [Boss]



Kojack. This is not only the only time you get to see Jack use his motorcycle in a boss fight, but also one against an evil British doppleganger of his. Oh boy, these two are in for a massive one.

-From 0:29 to 0:31, Kojack rode his motorcyle up really high up into the air with only one arm and one leg holding the motorcycle (and the commentators say he never gets off his motorcycle).

-From 0:48 to 1:06, the moment the battle starts, Jack enters into a power struggle with his Cockney-speaking twin: Jack and Kojack clash into each other with their motorcycle and gets into opposite positions preparing to ram at each other and they both do so by propelling themselves into the air and when they got near each other, Jack slashes Kojack in the chest with his chainsaw arm and Kojack comes crashing down with his motorcyle with a few quarts of blood spilling out of his body, but for now, he seems to be fine.

-From 1:12 to 1:31, Jack enters into another power struggle and the same thing happens.

-From 1:33 to 1:36, (Gameplay feat) Jack clashes against Kojack with the side of their motorcycle without getting into an accident.

-From 2:01 to 2:16, A third and exact same power struggle for Jack.

-From 2:29 to 2:56, Jack finishes off his English counterpart by getting into a rough class with him on the wheels of their motorcycles from mid-air down to the ground and as they wrestled each other with their motorcycles, Jack speeded his motorcycle up into the air and threw it down onto Kojack (while still on his motorcyle) causing a tremendous explosion and Jack emerges the victor on his undamaged motorcycle. Badass!

CYBER SLICERS [Mini-Boss]



Cyber Slicers. The final different type of mini-boss Jack faces and these are basically really durable robots that have ninja-like fighting skills.

Now this is the only mini-boss I won't be doing any timing notes in, since there's not really much to see from the Cyberslicers except Jack using his Magnet Gun against them in action and the fact that the Cyber Slicers are just too damn durable.

THE MASTERS [Boss]



This is possibly the most epic bossfight you will see. That's right, Jack squares off against a parody version of a Jedi duo (reminscient of Qui-Gon Jin and Obi-Wan Kenobi) and these guys have some trippy electromagnetic powers (that operate a bit like TK) as well as two bladed weapons similar to that of lightsabers. What would Jack do against these guys? Let's find out.

-From 1:10 to 1:18, the Masters can jump pretty high and quick and one of them activates a force field of some sort and jumps back again.

-From 1:19 to 1:22, the Masters make an opening demonstration of what seems to be the electromagnetic equivalent to telekinesis by levitating barrels into the air.

-Circa 2:04, the Masters "TK" yet another pair of objects in the air. If Jack hadn't gone near them and sliced them, they would actually have thrown those objects.

-From 2:09 to 2:29, the Masters jump back to the edge of the arena and one of them levitates a truck with his master standing on it and they proceed to toss the truck at Jack, but Jack reacts in time and slices the truck in half with his chainsaw arm, easily, just like he did with a cargo bed at the start of Little Eddie's fight.

-From 2:51 to 3:23, Jack enters a power struggle with the Masters (oh kickass!): Jack tries to hit both of the Masters at once, but the Masters quickly moved to opposite ends of the arena and both of the Masters levitate two approximately cargo-sized objects and toss them at Jack's position in an attempt to smash him, but as they simultaneously get near Jack, Jack struggles with them pushing them away as hard as he can and when he managed to succeed pushing them a short distance away with a huge force, Jack proceeds to slice both of the oversized constructs in half, resulting in apparently the upper half being hurled at the Masters disrupting their electromagnetic assault and hurting them. Can you say frigging epic?!

-Circa 3:31, one of the Masters show the ability to extend their lightsabre-like weapon to a much longer length.

-Circa 3:47, one of the Masters can TK two objects at once for an assault.

-From 3:57 to 4:18, the Masters once again levitates a truck and throws it at Jack and Jack slices it in half as usual.

-Circa 4:32, one of the commentators state that there were three "lightsabres" being wieled by the Masters.

-From 4:40 to 5:15, Jack finishes off the Masters by grabbing one and slicing him with his chainsaw arm sending the other one flying out of the arena near the wall still in mid-air due to his electromagnetic connection with the older-looking Master. Jack then proceeds to use the older-looking Master to violently slam the younger one across the whole room several times and throws the Master's he holding at the other one, watching the both of them collide and explode into ashes. To think Jack has just gone up against two Captain Ersatzes of the Jedi just blows my mind. Is there anything Jack can't do? If there is, I'd like to know right now.

MARTIN [Boss]

Martin is the second-to-last boss Jack fights and he's an alien operating a giant robot from the inside and fires missiles. He didn't really have that many feats nor was he that tough to beat.

-From 1:44 to 1:47, Martin can put aiming dot on multiple locations to launch his missiles.

-Circa 1:49, (gameplay feat) Jack tanks a missile from Martin.

-From 1:56 to 2:06, whenever Martin's missiles hit you, smoke and fog comes around you and it kinda confuses your sight for a moment.

-Circa 2:11, Martin can stretch its robot arm to grab you and if it does, you can get into a power struggle with it (I think).

-From 2:23 to 2:48, Jack enters a power struggle: Martin grabs him by his arm and slams him down to the ground, which Jack survives with little to no injury, and Martin fires a guided missile to follow Jack around the arena and Jack outruns it and manages to make it land on Martin for some explosive damage.

-From 3:18 to 3:45, Jack enters another power struggle: It's pretty much the same deal, except Martin (the alien itself) actually rides the missile to chase you around the arena and the missile hits the robot and the alien is nearly dead.

-From 4:00 to 4:30, Jack finishes off Martin by well... apparently running away when his robot is malfunctioning and then pounding the ground hard enough for the robot to spin long enough for it to explode and stop dead in its track with a giant pin-up cardboard of a naked woman (from Money Shot I and II) landing next to it. I was like "WTF?" and I wasn't sure how exactly Jack finished him off.

BLACK BARON [Boss]



Yup! You guessed it right. The final boss all this time was the host as well as the "demonstrator" of the BloodBath Challenges and he's come back for the last time to square off against you and it's so big that I'm going to have to post two vids to cover the whole fight. The Black Baron's moves consist of various melee attacks and some other powerful esoteric stunts to go with it.

-Circa 2:31, the Black Baron starts off his attack with a lightning-fast punch.

-Circa 2:36, the Black Baron can perform a spin kick attack that makes him look a horizontal tornado in mid-air.

-From 3:28 to 3:51, Jack enters a power struggle (and fast paced one too): Both Jack and the Black Baron trade multiple punches with each other up to at least sonic speeds and then they both punch each other in the jaw at once three times followed by Jack concentrating all the power in his fists to slam on the Black Baron. Though this wasn't shown in the vid, but if you happen to fail (the jaw-punching part of) the power struggle, many punches are landed on Jack and it should be noted that Black Baron's punches are alarmingly fast as lightning.

-From 3:56 to 4:00, Not a real feat per se, but the Black Baron gets powered up and is ready to deal some serious damage.

-From 4:03 to 4:07, the Black Baron has a move that involves gathering the air around him and gives himself a powerful cyclone or tornado aura that if Jack gets caught in it, he basically sends him flying and then slamming into the audience from up the sky partially turning into a puddle of blood. But Jack avoids this on the virtue of the player being smart enough to know what might happen.

-From 4:17 to 4:19, the Black Baron can set himself on fire and then jump up and pound the ground hard enough to reveal several major dents in it.

-From 4:38 to 4:46, the Black Baron backflips like 10 feet above the ground and onto the ring pole and jumps another like 10 feet up again to deliver a quick lightning spin-kick attack towards Jack and the player fails to make Jack dodge it, which is pretty hard and this attack doesn't really occur that often.

-From 0:15 to 0:30, (Gameplay feat) Jack gets caught into the Black Baron's tornado attack and gets sent up into the air high and gets slammed onto the audience like a bloody puddle and comes back into the arena by helicopter, but the point is he still seems to be able to fight normally as if he had no injuries at all.

-From 0:37 to 0:48, the Black Baron uses an explosive fire punch on Jack sending him out of the ring where his consort Mathilda whacks him with a nail bat several times all bloodied up and bats him up all the way back onto the stage and yet Jack seems fine (outside a decrease in his health bar that is). I tell ya, Jack is a tough son of a bitch when dealing with extreme blunt trauma.

-From 0:54 to 1:20, Jack enters another power struggle: Nearly the same routine, Jack and the Black Baron punch each other at progressively faster speeds (up to the point where every half a second their fists lands on each other), they punch each other in the jaw simultaneously, then they headbutt each other, then they punch each other in the jaw again, and Jack lands a slamming blow on the Black Baron ending the power struggle.

-From 1:24 to 1:44, In a quick time event, Jack charges his chainsaw arm for a few seconds and unleashes a huge punch to the Black Baron's head so hard that three of his teeth (M, A, and D) flew out of his mouth and slamming him hard onto the audience with tons of blood splattering out of him and the Black Baron returns to the arena lying down still alive, but pretty unconscious at this point. Man I gotta respect the Black Baron for taking some brutal punishment before actually dying.

-From 1:50 to 3:08, Jack finishes off the Black Baron by picking up the nail bat that Mathilda threw at the Black Baron's head and waits for a giant dartboard (from Man Darts I and II) to appear in the arena and gets his face with a nail bat and then pimpsmacks him for a bit and then finally slams a tired Black Baron into the center of the dartboard (Bullseye!). Jack just became the new champion of the Death Watch games. \m/ But it's a shame this is the last time the Black Baron is going to be dying. At least that put him out of his misery.

Noa and his goons surround Jack to confront him for some matters and then Leo shoots his father Noa from behind and Jack proceeds to cleaves all the mooks in half and then faces Leo in a discussion over the secret behind the Death Watch conspiracy and cuts Leo's side a bit in the middle of it and despite Leo's reasons and plea for mercy at the end, Jack cuts him falling down to his death and replies with a badass quote "I don't help people... I kill them."

Conclusion and Credits

To sum it all up, Jack Cayman is a tough-ass man who has gone through quite a lot to uncover a disturbing secret and in the process has beaten many impressive enemies on his way and as far as battle goes, Jack is like a Class 5-10 Bullet-Timing Chainsaw Fighting Sadist Torture Master who's a force to be reckoned with. And on a side note, Madworld was a pretty fun and enjoyable arcade-style game and I sure hope they make a sequel!

The reasons I made this respect thread is because:
1. Jack Cayman is one of the most recent fictional characters I personally know through experience of well... playing his game and he's quite the badass.

2. I was bored and wanted to feel some achievement in contributing something (like a lesser-known character I know most) to the CBR.

3. I made this thread just to get an idea of the board's reception and ranking for this character.

but if you want me to do the four stats you requested, okay then here goes:
Strength: Class 5-10? since he pushed back two roughly truck-sized objects squishing him and sliced them in half and several other feats.
Speed: Peak human.
Agility: Bullet-timer, he sliced pairs of revolver bullets in half and flipped over the way to evade them.
Tactics: Peak human, though in pure fighting, he's extremely brutal and creative when using the environment to kill his opponents.
