Doctor Strange Appreciation

Doctor Strange will also be appearing in an upcoming Fantastic Four special. Here's some preview art from Tom B. blog last month. I haven't seen yet when they plan to release it though. If I am not mistaken, it looks like Alan Davis on the pencils.

Ooh and idea what the FF special will be about? Who's doing it?

I liked Strange quite a bit when he was a New Avenger. If his student is Wiccan I will totally pick this up.

Sad that Marvel had to rob him of his Sorcerer Supreme title to have an excuse to put together another story for Strange. I really enjoyed The Oath by Vaughn and I have my fingers crossed that this mini will be just as entertaining. Hopefully enough to warrant an ongoing! And revitalize Marvel's mystic/magic scene along with Brother Voodoo.

Oh I LOVED The Oath. Fantastic story. I have no interest in a Doctor Voodoo ongoing so this mini might be king.

Strange seems to be dressed more like a teenager than someone born in 1930.
Hope they're not writing him with a midlife crisis.

Notice the gloves. Is he hiding the scars on his hands?

That's what I'm thinking. They almost always show him with gloves on. I really think they should tell his story in a ongoing. It just seems like there is so much they could tell.

Yeah, I dislike the price, but I, too, am a long-time Stephen Strange fan, and just have to hope this'll be as good as the cover art promises. & yeah, I'll pay the price and buy it.

I would to see an ongoing series with Strange as a supernatural investigator/adventurer, with Night Nurse as his companion ala Dr. Who. You could have Kid Blackheart as a new apprentice and have him visit a Lovecraft themed magicians academy that is a twisted mirror image of Hogwarts. The possibilities are all but limitless.
