Let's have a design contest. Say, Jan 1-31 everyone who wants to enter can submit a drawing of their costume idea for Strange, and then we'll make a public vote for the winner. Sorry, Rheged. I was kind of sad too until I realized that was a rather unpleasant Simone Bianchi cover (Strange and Beast aren't at their best here.).

Haven't doodled in years, but I just banged out a weird waist up concept (the symbol and his cloak are connected.)

Okay. Let me think of how I want to word everything.

What is the maximum number of options allowed in a poll? 14? I should probably limit it to that number of participants.

10, but don't feel like that has to limit you. People can always vote by posting their choice.

I might participate. Depends on what I've got going on. Love the idea, though.

Oh, and while I'm not trying to be pedantic, the "non-team" designation meant that they had no formal members, no rules or by-laws.
But when they DID meet, Strange was almost always - by everyone - acknowledged as leader.

Agreed, they were a "non team" in the sense that they were an informal association, more like a group of peers who could come and go as they pleased, and often did so, but they without a doubt, deferred to Strange's leadership. Not uniformly, by any means, and not without some argument or challenges, but, for example, Nightwing was very distressed when Strange left "Our leader has gone! How will we go on!" Saying words to this effect (I'm paraphrasing)... but whenever Strange was part of the team, he was the one looked to, to lead, and call the plays.

Always kind of liked Strange's leadership style, myself. (He prefered a group of equals and associates, rather than a hierarchy. He was never formally the leader, but they clearly just deferred to his wisdom, confidence and experience.)

Okay. Strange costume design contest will go live tomorrow. I think I'll give people a month to do their designs, and then voting will take place in the last week of January.

I will have either email you mine or PM it if possible. I haven't been able to post images here directly from my computer and I no longer have a web site to store images.

It'll be later this week.
