Looks like an excellent issue. I can't wait to read the Milligan and Carey stories. This kinda sounds like it is out of continuity stories but that is fine with me.

Here's preview pages for Strange #3 out next week. Also Dr. Strange will be featured in Invincible Iron Man out the same week.

I think JMS/J.H. Williams III would make a perfect Doc Strange team, unfortuantely they're both DC exclusives.

Your X-obsession is fascinating and almost commendable-bebopeva88.

Ted McKeever and Frank Brunner, too! McKeever's work is certainly not for everybody, but Dr. Strange is a character that he could shine on. Brunner's a legendary Dr. Strange artist, and he does comics work so infrequently that this issue is a must buy. (My Dr. Strange artist order would go Ditko, Marshall Rogers, then Brunner, Paul Smith, Gene Colan, although I suspect that Brendan McCarthy will definitely be on the list after his Dr. Strange/Spider-Man mini comes out.)

    Default Strange #3

Anybody check out Strange today? I thought it was pretty interesting. It feels like this is leading into a possible story after the mini ends.

I felt the same way....Strange's soul no where to be found, Casey's soul has been sold, Strange's power outage.

It does feel like a setup for more down the road. If that's the case nothing could make me happier.

In the current previews catalog, there is a listing for, the Mystic Hands of Dr. Strange #1 (or similarly titled); not having the catalog at hand (so to speak), I don't remember the personnel or precis, but I'm for supporting the good doctor, and ordered this for March 2010.

Me too. I was wondering if it might have anything to do with Strange having possession of the Soul Gem from the Illuminati. Probably not but who knows. They were setting up a lot of rules in this issue as well.

Just picked up Strange #3 and am looking forward to reading it.

Does anyone know when the one shot is supposed to take place? Or will Stephen get the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme back? Seems a little soon, but I don't mind, especially if it leads to an ongoing series.

I don't think that the one shot will be in continuity. I would love to see an ongoing start up but only if they have the right ideas lined up and a good writer and artist. There are a good deal of books out there right now that are starting up and getting canned quick. Its pretty dangerous to be a new series without being Siege/Avenger/X-Men related.
