So DnA are doing the Darkhawk follow-up stuff? Thank God for that!
No word on an ongoing, I notice.

I enjoyed War of Kings quite a bit, but this sounds far better already. I am really, really excited for this!

    A few random thoughts.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like this is the Dark Reign to War of Kings' Secret Invasion, an aftermath status quo quasi-event. As far as event fatigue goes, I guess I can see this as sort of a half-step between another event and plain-old non-crossover stories.

DnA are writing every scrap of this thing? Even War of Kings had a few bits from Cebulski, Gage, Yost and Kyle, and Faerber. A few more voices in the mix couldn't hurt.

Quasar headlining the kick-off one-shot? Excellent. Manco drawing it? Seems like an odd fit, but we'll see.

I'm a bit tired of the Inhumans, but the Imperial Guard mini seems like it'll be a lot of fun.

The Nova storyline sounds really promising, with a straightforward action premise. The Guardians storyline sounds a little vague, at least from this description.

Speaking of the Guardians, as much as I agree it makes sense for them to be involved with this, I really hope they'll have a chance to get back to their own storylines at some point. If the Warlock/Magus storyline has to happen as a subplot during a crossover storyline, I'll be a little disappointed.

If it's two 5 issue mini series complete with tie ins, then it does sound like a real event to me.

I really was wanting to get back to the straight up storylines but with this interview I've found myself wanting a bit more.

Inhumans Five........does not intrigue me that much. Will have to see if it can pay off in the wake of Black Bolt's disappearance.

Shi'Ar Five....interested to see how Gladiator is handling things.

Nova sounds great but it always is.''

Quasar in the Realm of Kings One Shot? Cannot wait for this! Not only Wendell but I believe we are going to be getting Dr. Necker and Doc Gruenwald for that with Pegasus involved.

GotG- Agree with you ED. Too vague to even start an opinion on it. But I'm on board.

Just when I'm ready to dismiss Realms they bring me back in. Good thing I'm starting a better paying job. Cosmic Marvel will be getting all my money. And between this and the revamp of all the Original Spidey Rogues......Marvel is finally bringing back to their camp big time.

Yep Cosmic Marvel is defiantly getting all my dough too.

I agree there should be a couple of other writers involved in the mix. I would personally want Hickman, especially since he's writing Fantastic Four.

GotG is loosing me a bit because of all the books DnA are writing it seems to be the book thats been side tracked the most, everything else has been n point.

Im also excited because in one of the other Marvel panels theirs talk about more Silver Surfer! Hope he shows up in RoK.

Wow, sounds like good stuff. I was concerned at first, but now I'm not.

The thing about the Cosmic events is, they do not affect every other Marvel title. Marvel writers are not forced into someone else's event (see JMS and Thor). We as readers are not forced into reading the same storyline in both Avenger titles, X-men titles, Spiderman, etc. DnA are only affecting their small corner of the Marvel universe.

Also, from these solicits, we learn that Nova will be around longer - which makes this Nova fan happy. And for you Quasar fans, that one shot should make you a little bit happy. That's a darn good artist.

Hhhm, at some point in the future the Spartoi (Star-Lord's people) and the Badoon replace the Shi'Ar and Skrulls as power players. I wonder if they will cover that in this series?

Well they have been using the Badoon in the pages of Guardians of the Galaxy on and off since the begining, so I do think DnA have something big planned foe them down the road.

Yes and no: when you've got a loose or poor framework for the event, it's often the periphery titles that yield the better stories, but when you've got a strong central story as with War of Kings, other writers can at best produce diverting asides, and at worst, utterly pointless minis that go nowhere and have the potential to dilute the sales impact of later titles (as in the case of Annihilation: Wraith and War of Kings: Darkhawk).

DnA have proved they can script the whole thing without any trouble, and I think they should be left to do so. These events seem to work better with smaller writing pools and there's no point getting greedy when 'cosmic Marvel' is still building a fanbase.

Sounds good to me. I like tha they are keeping their foot on the pedal with Cosmic Marvel. In the past there have been lulls and people begin to lose interest. This is encouraging me to pick up a few more titles if they keep it going like this. And I don't mind so much that DnA are handling all the writing chores. It keeps the stories more cohesive and they've done a great job playing in their own sandbox.
