So there.
Paul Tobin has made Spider-Man fun again.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
I don't get why the interviewer thinks "Brand New Day" (I think he meant "One More Day") would have an effect on this? All the retcons and mindwipes applied to events that took place long after Secret Wars.
I hate being one of those nitpicky continuity dorks, but didn't Storm have her mohawk during this time? Unless the creators felt that the hairstyle would "date" the series as to how long ago it took place. Just an observation. Carry on!
Always wanted to read a updated art Secret Wars anything. So I'll be looking at this.
Its because of stupid people needing confirmation. There were people out there during OMD seriously thinking that Secret Wars would be erased if Peter and MJ were'nt married anymore.
I think this may be as pointless as "Iron Man and the Armor Wars." I'd prefer to just read the original stories rather than a watered-down "second take." The only Secret Wars redux that I ever really cared for was the final issue of What If back in the 90's.
The fact that it's by the same writer as the money-wasting "Age of the Sentry" doesn't inspire much confidence.
What's the point? I mean if i want to read Secret Wars, then i read Secret Wars and not a watered down version from only one of the characters views. I mean what's next? Ultron and the Secret Wars or Cyclops and the Secret Wars?
comic fans aren't happy unless there's something to bitch about
I buy comics for the characters not for the writer/artist
currently reading issue 340 of amazing spiderman cd-rom.
PRO-BND
I'm somewhat interested in this but the way that Marvel are inundating readers with books I think I'll have to pass. There's just too many other books I'll be getting.
I don't really think the original Secret Wars was all that good. Most of it felt really padded out and incoherent. I think it could make an effective four-issue series though, so I'm curious to see what these guys do with it.
