Believe it or not, thats not actually an action shot. No, all those bullets merely stopped themselves midflight in sheer terror of Steve's piss-face growl. The next frame would be the bullets falling to the ground Matrix-style and then scampering away to hide.

Is it the cover for issue 4 or issue 1? It says it's a cover for Captain America Reborn #1 everywhere.

It's #4 because of the solicit.

Where have I seen this cover before? Oh, yeah Jim Lee did the same one with Superman with the same color scheme and everything. I guess it doesn't hurt that it always makes for a cool cover though.

Good to see Hitch drawing the bullets like this, unlike his first issue of FF. (I think I inspired him to change the drawing of bullets when I told him about this)
