Doubly thank goodness. I was looking forward to this, and today was a miserably slow X-Wednesday on shelves.

I feel the need to add to their statement about Blackest Night comparisons... the dead come back in comics en masse all the time. At Marvel, too.
Undead Genoshans rose during "The Collective".
Black Talon attacked She-Hulk with Scaleface, Harry Leland, the Living Diamond, and Changeling in "X-Humed".
And many, many more. Each one of these "dead rising" stories are different, unique, and brilliant in their own way. And I'm sure that both Blackest Night and Necrosha will both be able to stake a claim to the same complimentary adjectives.
I will, however, not comment on their referring to Feral as a "Rahne knock-off". That's for Swashbuckler to handle.
Oh, and add the preview image of #18 with X-23 to the X-Bondage thread, someone, please?

is the elephant Shortpack or Mammomax?
Yay, my first ever question got in there! :D
Although I put my whole name in there rather than my online tag. LOL
Thanks for answering my question (somewhat) guys :D
The art looks gorgeous! Haven't seen Wither in a while, sounds cool.
Is that Kimura's arm?

Warpath has his fair share of loved ones among the dead. What are the odds he’ll see his former fling Risque or his brother (John Proudstar) during “Necrosha?”
YOST: I’d say the chances are about a thousand percent. I mean, there’s a one-in-one chance he’s going to see at least one of those guys, if not two.
KYLE: And one of those will be Thunderbird
I don't care if its a tease and even if Risque doesn't appear, I know feel as though my online existence is now justified.

Woop woop .........
You raise an excellent point about the whole Blackest Night/Necrosha comparison, and I really liked how Kyle and Yost dealt with the issue firmly off the bat. Of course, that won't stop the Newsarama trolls from hopping on and saying something along the lines of, "OMG! kYle and Yost rip off BlACKEST NIGHT!" but at the very least, they tried.
(and yes, the use of bad grammer and capitalization was intention.)
Loved the preview images from X-Force #18, and the answers from K and Y were awesome, as always.
Nvm that doesn't make sense. LOL.

The Feral diss is poetic.

A pretty good X-Position.
WORD. Yeah, that was bugging me last week. Especially because, like I just threw out there now... it's a device that's been done so many times.
Hell, I think Frank Tieri used the version of fighting an army of the dead where hero goes to the afterlife, and has to fight everyone he's killed within a few years of each other... once in Deadpool, and once on Wolverine. And that just got re-used in Incredible Hercules, too.
It's like dogging out a pro-wrestler for hitting another pro-wrestler with a chair, and accusing them of ripping off the Rock. Which, plenty of guys have done that thing before and after. It's a storytelling device of the medium. That's all. Nothing to decry that writers are like an unscrupulous delinquent student trying to peep on someone else's answer sheet during Finals.
