I was expecting jokes about fat, sweaty nerds who couldn't get laid in a Tijuana whore house. Not that. That was actually good. Especially the Twilight stuff. Does anyone know why Comic Con doesn't clear the room after each panel? Every other major convention I've been to does that just to prevent fans from sitting through stuff they didn't care about just to get into a popular event later in the day.

That's sort of funny to me. If all goes as planned, I'll be going to the Con next year with, among others, a Twilight -obsessed- friend.
Kind curious why Comic-Con didn't put Twilight up first thing on Thursday specifically because of this situation.
I'd think the people in charge would have had a strong inkling that this would happen.

Well, I was expecting nothing but jokes like that. But they actually made some good points.

Also, isn't it unfair to the people who want to attend events in Hall H and are shut out by squatters? That's what a lot of the Twilight complaints were about.

I think they should actually sell advance tickets for the panels. It's not an area where I'm too worried about shutting people out. And it could relieve a lot of frustration and traffic issues.

Okay, this made me laugh :
This year, Twilight nerds were, to a bunch of legitimate, respectable nerds, the total manifestation of everything wrong with Comic-Con; they were loud and screechy and hyper and obsessed with vampires that had nothing to do with Joss Whedon.
I'm not liberal, liberals have beliefs. I'm a democrat, the only belief I have is that republicans are wrong.
