that is an awesome cover....thought i have to ask. (never really read ultimates do dunno all the characters extremely well). Who are the four in the back on the left side of the page? (one looks like it might be DD)

Doesn't it kind of look like DD has clevage though? Also didn't he die in Ultimatum? Maybe thats why....

I believe that's Blade, Black Widow II, Thor II (lol) and Daredevil II (yes!! hopefully a darker version)
Now the cover makes sense and it is Spectacular. I was in tears yesterday about how my beloved universe was in shambles capped off by Loeb and his Ultimatum. But this cover has given me hope. The future looks bright.If only Loeb wasn't writing two books.
In all fairness to Loeb, listening to his podcasts and his interviews, the man does have a passion for comics and the industry in general. I dont mind him being one of the architects or editors but he needs to stay from the actual writing or learn a thing or two from his teammates.
Now i just need to kick back, chill and wait for a mutant book and the inevitable return of Wolverine (my man the cash cow)

Sweetness! I wonder if all those characters are going to be in the first arc? I'm guessing there will be a scene with Fury talking to all these guys and giving them the lowdown on how the "Avengers" will be run and what their purpose is. From there a smaller team is put together to handle this first threat.
