Default Michael Vick is Back in the NFL

Michael Vick is back in the NFL today. Personally I think he should never be allowed back in to professional sports and should never have any endorsement deals, but that is me.

Now that he is back who is going to pick up this toxic talented asset?

I am a fan of uncomfortable laughter, so I would like to see him play for the Cleveland Browns.

However, I think part of his release should be playing for the Detroit Lions for the rest of his career.

    Who's going to pick Vick?

Whoever picks him will be someone that doesn't mind a PETA boycott or picket. I am going with one of the Texas teams

He's still a good player right? He paid his fines, he did his time. As long as he doesn't repeat his crimes, I think he should have a shot.

I personally think he should go to Minnesota, that way they can stop pretending to care about having a passing offense and just run all game.

What about the Oakland Raiders. He might actually fit in with their image.

If Dallas doesn't want you, you have problems. Dallas was best when it was staffed by criminals.

He can join a team with Maurice Clarett!

i agree. personally, coming from an animal lover and former vegan, he's paid for his crime with prison time and has assumed responsibility for his actions and at least seems sorry for it. i don't believe that people, even after committing a crime as disgusting as this, are ireedeemable. hopefully as a result of the severity of his punishment he has had time to think about things and it shouldn't affect his career from this point onward.

I don't think he's going to have much impact regardless of who may pick him up. I just don't think his style fits but so well in the current NFL play system.

Why do you hate Minnesota so much?

We still want a semblance of a passing attack so that they won't stick 11 guys in the box. Our last big free agent pick up was a receiver after all.

He only seems sorry that he got caught to me. But genuine remorse isn't a requirement to get out of jail or anything. I don't that he deserves a shot, but I think that he should be allowed one. But not with Minnesota. He can go to any team that I don't like or am neutral about.

He was never all that good at his chosen position. Now if they put him in Wildcat system, he may have a chance at becoming pretty good in the league. I cannot see him being the starting QB for any other type of team in the league.

Dallas not wanting him may be in part because they already have a better quarterback. And after getting rid of TO, Pacman, and Tank all in the same year, why would they want to take Vick?

Has any team said that they might be interested in Vick?

I tend to agree. I'm not a fan of banishment or shunning.

Although in a League that is so big on image, I have to wonder where he will play and how they will handle him.

If no team wants him he's legitimately SOL.

I'm sure he'll get a job somewhere. it just won't be as high profile as it sued to be.

No one thinks it's funny he should play for the Browns?

This is because no one knows the Browns mascot.
