Definitely looking forward to this now :)
Great news. I really can´t wait for the new Flash and Kid Flash comics, indeed Johns is the cornerstone of DC Universe.BN Flash will be awesome too.

Oh Happy days again.![]()
I mean the Blackest Night Flash seems like John's last arc of showing the Rogues War, but on a more creepy factor.![]()

Howard Porter needs to come back to the Flash book with Johns.
...mh...who did the cover ?
it isn't written big enough for me.
I'm excited, Geoff Johns' Flash run is one of my all time favorites. I'd be more excited if I knew this was focusing on Wally West, but it definitely sounds like he'll at least not be forgotten. So I'll take what I can get.
Oh my god, Canon! *masturbates furiously*

I'm still continually surprised that Geoff Johns would go back to the Flash after having such a long and substantial run on the character before he came off of the title.
Perhaps he felt that he didn't tell all of the stories that he had to tell and that Barry added something newer to the mix but you don't see this type of thing too often, especially with such dedication to the future of the books.
That being said, I haven't really been enjoying Flash Rebirth as much as I'd hoped as the return of Barry Allen has never clicked with me since his return. I really hope the book ends on a strong note because otherwise I might just drop the Flash books altogether.
As long as Wally is there, so will I.
I was wondering if there was going to be a new Flash series and now I know.

He is writing The Flash's movie?
AWESOME.
EDIT:
just figured that David S goyer (the one who wrote the stories of Bats begins and Dark Knight) is writting the story for the Flash movie.
Man, it will be awesome.

I'm so glad that we'll be getting new Flash ongoings. He's my favorite character, and we've waited a long time for a Flash ongoing. I'm glad Geoff will be writing. (who isn't?) I kinda wish each Flash would get their own solo book, but I'll be waiting to see how this turns out.
Definately excited about the new ongoing. The Flash books have gone from bad to worse since Geoff Johns finished his first run. The Flash deserves a good writer as it has the potential to be a top selling book if it is treated right.
Flash does deserve a good writer, but it just strikes me as strange that DC couldn't find anyone else other than Johns. They already went back with Mark Waid which didn't work out so well so they're going back again to Johns which shows just how insular the talent currently is in DC.
I'm not saying that Johns is going to suck since he's already proven how well he can write them but there's a lot on the line with Flash Rebirth and whether people will really support these new Flash books after Rebirth's results.

Isn't Johns the one that left Wally with the kids? Shouldn't he be writing that character to establish a dynamic on how to use them?
