I was excited to read this. I always liked the character of FA. Hopefully Dynamite will do the character right. He is more than just a 50's "commie smasher" version of Capt America.
I'm looking forward to this to. DE's been on a roll with some of their more recent acquisitions (Green Hornet, Buck Rogers), and this looks to be in the same vein.
Can't wait.
Fighting America meets Project Superpowers? I'd buy that book

Dynamite is eating up my pull list...Zorro, Lone Ranger, Buck Rogers, SuperPowers and now this.

Joe Simon did NOT give his approval for publication. You can check it here:

Great, maybe the character can continue to languish in comic limbo.
Wonder what the sticking point is? It doesn't make sense to block the use of a Simon/Kirby character, given the mini-renaissance of their works that is currently going on. The time seems right to attempt this revival ... so I wonder what gives.
"Newsarama also spoke with Lisa Kirby Monday afternoon, who informed us the Kirby estate will no longer be participating in a Fighting American project at Dynamite."
So much for their blessing.
Well, at least the KirbyVerse revival at Dynamite isn't negatively affected.
I hope....
