Hmmm... interesting that it's Marvel Knights. I thought those were out of continuity books at this point. But this kind of sounds like it's 616.
Herm nice shield design on the cover but isn't supposed to be round instead of triangle/emblem shape?Or does he have both of them?
Love Black Panther and interested too read how his fight for his country intersects the plot of Cap's.Not a fan of Nazi/WW2 stuff but will pick up the book.
Pull List : X-Men: Legacy T-Bolts Avengers Academy X-23 X-Factor New Avengers Jubilee U:X-Force Red Hood/Outlaws A:X-Men Static Gotham City Sirens Black Panther Suicide Squad Wolverine New Mutants
That meeting was revealed already in BP Vol 4 29
The writers woukld have ben more advised to make the WW3 BP the great-grand-father rather than the grandfather.
Sounds pretty cool. I enjoyed Hudlin's original run (even if the continuity buff in me rankled at some of the changes, at least in the early issues), but the relaunch has left me a little cold. This sounds pretty interesting though. Going to give this a look.
Have a good day.

I can't wait to see how much "cooler" and more badass Black Panther will be compared to Captain America.
On the plus side, I do like seeing Denys Cowan drawing for Marvel again. That guy is really talented.
Yeah... I'm betting Cap will get pretty badly owned by BP (physically and otherwise), as I'm fearful he's just going to be used as some sort of symbol of american imperialism in africa or something. Hopefully I'm wrong, and this won't get too preachy... though the Cap butt whooping is pretty much inevitable.
Still, that aside I do think this might be fun. It looks good at least.

Right. Cap is perfect and was perfect from the start.
If they did that it would be more realistic!!!!
Cowan: Very little surprises this Golden Age Black Panther and very little impresses him. However, he's impressed by Captain America. The Panther's first obligation is to his people, to his country, to his family. So his relationship to Nick Fury and in fact, anyone who's not Wakandan, is subject to those considerations.
Like Cowan, love Cap, but Hudlin means all kinds of suckage.
I totally agree with you on this. I think a Cap vs Panther fight today is gonna end in a draw most times, but back then when Cap was still fairly new at all this and fighting someone who is basically his peer physically and has better tech than him (via Hudlins retcon that Wakanda has always been technologically advanced) it makes sense for Cap to fall in battle to Black Panther.
It's not that Cap is perfect. It's just that Hudlin tends to have BP beat Cap almost everytime they meet... even when they're on the same side.
He retconned the meeting with the granddad to having him beat Cap, even when they should have been on the same side. And even in CW, again when they're on the same side, they have them fight (with Cap being the aggressor) with BP beating him again.
It comes off to me like Cap is being made to look a bit worse so that BP or BP's grandad can look cooler. But it's BP's book, so I guess that's to be expected.
Count me in for the Denys Cowan art alone.
Hyperbole---->This is the only Denys I will ever give my money too.
PS. what if this capt is Bradley?
