As a newbie fan of crime comics, I'm really looking forward to these graphic novels! Filthy Rich and Luna Park have already been preordered and I'm looking forward to The Chill. The only one I'm not sure of is Dark Entries, since I've never been a Constantine fan. Although maybe this will be the interpretation that turns me around, who knows.

Constantine is the best thing that has happened to Vertigo imo.
Personally i dont have huge interest in these crime series except Constantine one because of him and Ian Rankin.
That zombie detective sounds fun though.
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
Kinda excited to see where this goes...sort of scanned the article, so may have missed this, but when can we see the first stuff coming out?
Great to see Gary Phillips come back and do another crime book for Vertigo again. If you missed it, I recommend locating down his Angeltown mini he did with Shawn Martinbrough. I'm a big fan of his books.
The new Allred series sounds interesting but I just don't care about zombies in any capacity. Daytrippers I'll definitely get.
"If you live among wolves you have to act like a wolf."
Soo many new Vertigo titles to add soon! Daytrippers is a must have but its not an ongoing it seems. Just a 10 series book etc. Still, with Sweet Tooth, I, ZOMBIE and Grant Morrison's new mini-series I will be a happy camper indeed.
I know I am forgetting a series or two here haha
Even though it's the flagship title and the sales have been... well, not great but better than a lot of recent newer Vertigo titles, I think it's time that Hellblazer was laid to rest. It's really run out of steam the past few years, and the character has pretty much reached a point of "arrested development" that severely limits what you can do with the character.
I'd love to continue to see Hellblazer OGNs and the occasional mini, but it might be time to retire ol' John (or perhaps go in a completely different direction without looking back). Sad part is, that likely won't happen, as the book seems to sell enough to get by and Vertigo doesn't have a lot of consistent titles.

I liked Joyride quite a bit, but it almost seemed to be the beginning of a "last hurrah" sort of story, and I wouldn't mind if JC were to ride off into the sunset, or at least have something happen that would drastically change the dynamic of almost every Constantine story in the future. They all seem to be a bit too formulaic, although I guess one could say that about the Punisher too, and Ennis managed to get some brilliance out of that character for a good number of years too. Perhaps it is just a matter of a better writer.

Considering Ennis Punisher i keep rereading all the time to remember series, how good it was. Its shows what a quality writer can do with an old, limited character if given enough freedom.
Constantine is far from as limited in story types as Punisher. Diggle showed that its about the writer, what he can bring.
