Default CBR: CCI: Paul Tobin on "Marvel Adventures Super Heroes"

Paul Tobin takes the all ages title in a bold new direction later this year by assembling Earth's mightiest heroes. And if you can believe it, Sue Storm's in and Galactus, yep, the Devourer of Worlds, just missed the cut.

Well i like Tobin's current Avengers, so sure.

but what I don't understand is why the interview is so...badly done. A question like "You're already writing Marvel Adventures: Avengers, Why the change?" would be..what's it called...professional.

So no more Marvel Adventures: Avengers?
    That's a real shame.

    Okay I like this...

    Captain America
    Thor
    Iron Man
    Black Widow
    Vision
    Nova
    Invisible Girl

    BUT why not...

    Hawkeye?
    Hercules?

I think Marvel Adventures would the perfect place to have a classic Avengers team without the "new" members...

It seems odd that they were revamp Marvel Superheroes instead of carrying the new direction into MA Avengers. Though I thought the MA Avengers were a fan-favorite team.

I'm kind of intrigued by this, though. I'll have to check it out.

Very cool. Both this and the new direction for MA Spider-Man sound like they're going to start having continuity in at least some of the MA titles -- don't know if this will be just within each title, or -- dare I hope? -- between them, but if it's the latter then this could be the beginning of a fresh, new, classic-style and all-ages-accessible Marvel Universe. (Even if it's not, I was enjoying the previous Marvel Adventures anyway.) My screed (and what I like about current Marvel as well) is in my sig here, so I won't repeat it, but I think something like this has been badly needed for a long time now.

From what I read in an interview on another site (it was either Newsarama or IGN, can't remember which), not only will they be in the same universe, there are strong hints of a crossover down the line. Color me stoked.

I'm also super-excited for the first full team pic. This just seems like too much fun to be true.
