the only mmo in the past half decade to be sucessful has been world of warcraft. unless youre name is blizzard you dont have a wing or a prayer in this market. plus ps3 console only is like committing corpoarte suicide. there is no way this thing will last.

It is actually PC and PS3, so depending on the system requirments the PS3 may not mean much. That also depends on the system requiements etc also.

Can't wait for the beta. It already looks leaps and bounds better than Champions Online.

I think it'll be ironic, though, that even at the normal MMO success level of 150,000/300,000 accounts that it'll expose more people to these characters than almost all the titles DC prints.

http://www.mmogchart.com/ will show you that WoW is the exception, not the rule. There are plenty of MMOs still rolling along just fine. Just like not everyone can be Nike or Reebok but other shoes are still made and make money for their owners.

Yeah, I would hate it if everybody threw their towel in and quit "because we can't be WoW", and we'd end up with only one MMO and everybody would either have to play it or not. That would be a damn dull MMO scene. Is that what you suggest, americocaine? That everybody should just quit because they aren't WoW and then we'd only have WoW?
