Fringe is my favorite show on now. Maybe I'll have to start reading Teen Titans, when I finally find time to read again...

I don't read or buy Teen Titans, but if Beast Boy and Raven join up, and the new roster is the cover to issue #76, I will buy this issue, to see how it looks. If I like it, I may add it to my pull file. Beast Boy would be the only reason I would have any interest in Teen Titans, so he is the selling point for me.

I started picking up Teen Titans when Static joined because he is a favorite of mine. It hasn’t been a good experience. The writing has been subpar. I was dropping the title when I heard a new regular writer is coming onboard. I decided to stay with the title to see how this new writers works out. I hope she gives me my money’s worth. She seems to have a good attitude. I wish her luck with the title.

I believe this woman may be the only black woman to ever have written a comic book. Is that correct?

She has a lot to prove.

This may be a genius level written book that shines light on the Industry along with Watchmen and DKR but hose images of a bunch of failed characters, no marks and 'series favourites' needed to lure the older reader in inspire as much confidence as the term 'military intelligence.'

I'm tired of all the vagueness. Tell me who's coming and going, and MAYBE I'll be interested.

No romance for Miss Martian! C'mon, she's like a six year old when it comes to love.

    I'll give her a shot.

By, "she has a lot to prove", you mean she has a lot to prove because Teen Titans has never been a particularly good comic, right?

TV writers are like other writers - they can be good or bad. It's that simple.

For Marvel & DC, you are correct. And with Eric Wallace (another African American) on Titans , this will also mark the first time in history that an entire major comics franchise was being written by African-Americans.

    *****

I'm a little less impressed by Ms. Henderson's interview than I was with Eric Wallace's. But since it looks like my two favorite Titans are going to go back to the Teen Titans, I'm encouraged by her enthusiasm.

BTW, according to the solicit for Wonder Woman, there are going to be a rash of mysterious pregnancies among the amazons. Considering the omen earlier this year that depicted a pregnant girl (with no indication as to who it is), I wonder if this means that the pregnant girl will be Cassie and they'll use that as a reason for her to step down, and that Gar will be taking the team over again? Just speculation.

Aqua Girl and Miss Martian are also cool because they represent some additional serious girl power. And present opportunities for romance not with each other, of course.
Why not with each other? No, that's not actually what I mean. Why not with each other of course? I barely know Aquagirl, but I can't remember her ever saying, "Hey, I'm a hundred percent straight!" And Miss Martian's not even human! Why would she have human sexual hang-ups?

I'm not saying that Aquagirl and Miss Martian should have a relationship with each other. I don't care one way or the other. It just was a nasty reminder of how far we still have to go for acceptance.

And I didn't care. But now I really hope they do end up together. I mean, why the hell not? Seriously?
