Yes to the Johns news. I can't wait to see the two or three things from his script translate to the screen, once whatever Orci or Kurtzman of the month ends up actually writing the movie.

Wolfman, I'm cool with being a consultant...if he actually does anything. The Morrison thing is just....off. He's never really struck me as a Flash guy.
We'd like to wish EZMOHR all the best in his future....ah forget it.

See its news like this that make me dissapointed Reynolds is cast as GL. I thought he would've been a perfect Wally, especially with a Johns treatment

However, the story doesn't say that Wolfman and Morrison are consultants for the Flash film, but that they were hired as consultants for Warner Bros' line of supehero films based on DC properties. Also clicking on the original Hollywood Reporter story on the second page it indicates that Wolfman and Morrison are working on separate projects.

nice to hear but after winning a certain lawsuit you think priorities would shift into overdrive to develop a new film so as not to lose the rights to character. and i though no new dc films were going into production until nolan was secure on balebat 3? theres hasnt been any official announcement he doesnt want to be involved just rumors.

With Barry back in the comics, that's probably who they'll use in the movie. I can't say it's a bad idea. I really like Barry Allen, even if Johns' take on him sometimes makes me scratch my head. Also, one of the reasons people like Wally is because of all the legacy stuff. For a first movie, that's an awful lot to dive into. With Barry, you can get a fresh start for the franchise.

Yeah I thought about that after I had posted. It does make a lot of sense to start fresh and just dive into things.
