As much as I love Ponsor's coloring, his style doesn't really mesh with Pacheco.

Gregory's armor looks cool, if not a bit too Iron Monger.

Definitely the best Fury's I've seen since Hitch. I was a little worried that Pacheco's earlier stuff made him look too Chinese, but he look awesome in that cover. Hawkeye looks cool, as does the new Black Widow. Hulk might look better with a different colorist...

...You can see how I've been avoiding the girl with the bad 60s helmet? So obviously the Jocasta Program is a success and Janet is brought back. My only concern is how she is written post-resurrection, and how long the artists intend to keep that crappy costume. It looks a little too much like a cross between the Gimp from Pulp Fiction and a Dominatrix.

This is definitely not a kids comic!

Peterson's cover for Armor Wars doesn't look that great. I loved his art when he did that arc on Ultimate X-Men with BKV, but his stuff is too computer-generated-modeled too look good. That CG fire looks like crap. And who's the chick? Phoenix? A vampire Natasha?

The USM cover looks pretty good, and is probably the only character I like drawn by Lafuente. I really hope his art is less manga, especially since Rauch will no longer be coloring him (fortunately J-Po will). Except, is Mysterio the new Sorcerer Supreme?

Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, we're only mortal. - Jean-Luc Picard

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Guide

I'm so relieved there's still no sign of Loeb's books...maybe they were canceled?, he asks disbelievingly.

    Yeah. That's ol' Mysterio.

I'm hesitant about picking up the post-Ultimatum books just because. . . I dunno. I'm just not feeling the momentum anymore. Millar's Ultimate Avengers sounds like a lot of fun, so I might as well give it a shot.

I got back into Ultimate Spider-Man during the Clone Saga arc and continued up until Ultimatum. While I enjoyed what I read, I think I was mainly there for Stuart Immonen's artwork.

    Still. I'll wait and see.

I'm at least glad that Hawkeye dropped his last outfit.

I got to wonder why the covers for issues 3 and 2 of UCSM look so much better than the cover for issue 1.

Probably because the image released for issue 1 is not the final cover; it's actually a partial shot of an interior splash page featuring the Iceman and Firestar (possibly the Human Torch, as well).

I wonder what the actual cover is that made it so Marvel can't reveal it (or maybe it's not done yet?)?

Hmm...lessee...Cap is on the run, and a major hero moves into Aunt May's house...
In my opinion is implied in every post. Please make an effort to remember that.

    Ultimate Mysterio looks pretty kick-ass.

Maybe the actual cover has Spider-man's mask off? Also I would really hope that They would finish the first issues cover before they made the second and third.

    Unhappy

I really expected something special after Ultimatum. For now there's nothing that impreses me much. And no matter Miller is working on Ultimate Avengers I WANT LOEB !!! Ow, and what are this eyes on Mysterio's neck-that's ridiculous. I mean he's a jerk in the real Marvel Universe. <Not here toooo > I think he deserves something more-hope Bendis don't mess up him in the Ultimate Universe.
