Still seems like an unnatural progression for the character, despite how may GLAAD awards Peter David boasts he has in his living room.
It's only unnatural if you choose to ignore all their previous history or you are just upset about the whole thing due to personal reasons.

And the fact that an asexual being discovers sex does not look unnatural at all to me.

I like how PAD has a big cast, but can still give everyone a decent spotlight. Also his willingness to work with characters who really don't have much going for them. Kinda like Carey, he gives the duds new purpose. Good work, PAD.
