Well, this basically replaces ASM Family in a lot of ways but looks more focused and I get the feeling it will be with tighter continuity in it's lead feature. Can't say I think much of that cover though......still, very interested in Kaine's return and the upcoming classic villains mentioned!

Surprised no one mentioned this part...

"Starting with the first issue's Kaine story by J.M. DeMatteis and then continuing onto stories about Electro, the Rhino, the Lizard and many more by Web-Head Fred Van Lente and regular Spidey artist Barry Kitson, the stories here directly impact what we're doing in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!"

Seems to be confirmation that the "Who is Ben Reilly?" story involves Kaine.

First off is it safe to break out the party favor, and secondly for those who cannot wait for the next issue of Spectacular Spider-girl to come out on its monthly time I'm willing to offer a chance to tell spoilers (through PMs) to those who want to know on time ?

Wow, twice the Kaine in one issue, I can't believe this is happening.

Looks good. i like the cover, very smooth bold lines on Spidey, and i love the trailing under-arm webbing. Not sure about what he is swining past - a mirror or something?

The armpit-webbing is so my favorite part of Spidey's costume. Though, the cover is a little too Spider-Man 2099 with the looseness. Still, nice art.

You do know Spider-girl is like a What if For the Clone Saga to end happy, and that also included Kaine as a supporting cast member from time to time.
