Secret Avengers #9

• An old friend is laid to rest, while a new one joins the fray.

If Gambit is a new member of Secret Avengers then I suppose we will se him on the cover to issue 10 when marvel october solications will arrive.

I was recently in the Universal theme parks in Orlando, and saw something interesting. In the superhero shops, they had very few X-Men shirts (obviously the focus is on the Avengers), but there on display was Wolverine and Gambit shirts. That was it. No Cyclops, no Iceman, no one else. Considering Gambit doesn't get much love in the mainstream, I thought this was very surprising. And, of course, I bought one. Perhaps he's not as irrelevant as some fans would like him to be. :)
