What does "wrap up with Hellion" entail? I swear, I spend more time worrying about the fate of this character I love than actually enjoying his on-panel time. He, moreso than a lot of others, always seems to be in dire straits. I hope it's the start of a new and interesting storyline for Julian.
Stop gnawing on the Devil's crotch. We all know how its going to end anyway. They couldn't be anymore subtle in their solicits?
Nice beginning but and this is a personal gripe... did we really have to have Emma turn on Scott? I'm holding out hope that in the end, it's a set up but if not, I'm not going to be a happy camper. Emma, moreso than Jean Grey (and I never thought I'd say this), is a better mate for Scott Summers. She gets him in a way that Jean never would and besides, Jean would be practically jumping in Logan's arms anyway. Emma understands Scott and I'll be honest, I really thought she loved him...
BTW - Dark Reign is really starting to get on my nerves... I'm shocked Normie has held it together this long....
It's Slade, baby. Tell Daddy how u want it....
It is a set up.
And Fraction needs to stop treating the readers as idiots. There are two Xaviers: one is siding with a bad guy, the other's in jail and using telepathic powers, and he's actually trying to make readers doubt which is the real one
That's right! Al Gore invented the internet, let's all go kick his ass!
I got your inconvenient truth right here, motherf*&¨%!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNN!!
That was a terrible issue. It really could have fit into one issue.
I what I've really HATED about Bendis' Dark Avengers-Norman Osborn taking over the Marvel Universe "storyline" is that he's making Osborn Infallible. Osborn is somehow able to subordinate Prince Namor, Moonstone, Emma Frost, etc to his will - which is patently ridiculous. Emma practically falls all over herself to do Osborn's bidding - Moonstone does the same. I think maybe Bendis is projecting himself again into the character he's writing. He's putting himself in Osborn's position (yes, of course Bendis is a deranged individual).
And, Apparently, Silvestri had "pencil assists". Out-f-ing-rageous.
Marvel Comics - The AIG of the Comics Universe. A-holes
The thing that gets me about this issue is that the X-Men and their pro-mutant supporters are, presumably, in the wrong. The entire riot could have been avoided if Beast and his coterie hadn't shown up to block Trask's little protest march. Trask had to have had permits from the city for his march and I can't even see San Francisco giving a permit to his opponents for a same day march. Not in a situation as volatile as this one. So, really, you could say the X-Men fell right into Trask's hands, by giving him the excuse needed to trigger the riot in the first place. Stupid, stupid mutants.
Wonder if we'll be getting an Illuminati reunion of sorts when/if Namor and Xavier meet up
