    Default Spider-Man vs Dracula (Marvel)

How does Spider-Man fare against the Lord of Vampires?

Standard powers. Fight takes place in Dracula's castle.

    Who wins?

They've fought before. If Dr Strange hadn't been around Spidey would be dead (or undead)

Unamped, Dracs not really as strong or as fast as spidey... he's more of a Peak Human +1 in terms of physical stats - can press a few tons, faster than Steve Rogers...

I suppose if Drac can get into a gas form, he'd make himself impossible to hurt...

I would suppose it depends on if Drac can get the mind powers going before Peter closes distance and pummels him to goo.

Can Drac pull off long range Mind control? I assumed it was all close range eye contact-y.

I suppose this fight could depend on a couple of things:

1.) Since the fight takes place in Castle Dracula, is it possible Drac could send an army of rats, bats, and wolves after Peter. Just to slow him down long enough to put the whammy on him.

2.) The impression I've gotten from Marvel Drac (I could be wrong) was that unless you were attacking him with one of his weaknesses (i.e. Crosses, silver, etc.) you weren't hurting him. Beat him down all you want but he gets back up and sooner or later Peter tires or Drac's able to bite him.

PIS-free, Dracula turns to mist and fries Petey with thunderbolts or makes millions of animals eat him to the bones. If Swarm and Vermin can make Spidey work for it, Dracula is going to crush him.

On a side note, does Peter still believe vampires don't exist?

After facing Dracula a few times by now, you'd think he would believe.

Then again, who knows in post-Brand New Day continuity.

I may be wrong, but didn't he beat on Colossus at some point?I think that would put his strength above Peters

He beat Col with lightning. He did throw Col through a tree, but that may have been as much about superspeed and centuries of skill as about strength. Certainly he never hurt Col with strength in that story, just tossed him around. It was his weather-control that actually let him pull out the win.

This seems to indicate some serious strength:

Yes it does but its strength that was many times above years of established continuity in his own comic.

Nevertheless, I would say Dracula can win this only because he can turn to mist. Yes Spidey can reach him and do some pummeling first but once he turns to mist, he can attack at will indirectly through the creatures of the night. But then, if Spidey plays it smart, he picks up a chunk of wood as he charges and his first hit is a stake to the heart.

Only during a period where it was revealed he had a cult amping him.

Yeah, he was enhanced by the Darkhold at the time.

It's actually rare to see Dracula unamped, fighting superheroes...
