The BOYS #31 Discussion: "What The??!"

Is anyone still on board w/ The Boys? Still one of the best books on the stands I'd say. But I have beef w/ this issue. Okay. It seems that The Female is dead (as credits for issue #32 refer to the remaining 4 "survivors"). If so, then this is a DAMN shame since she was the character that everyone was waiting to learn more about, I mean she's the sickest one in the crew and gets the least face-time!

Even if Ennis does an "origin" issue later on, this still doesn't make up for the fact that we won't see her in action other than in possible flashbacks (and I was hoping to finally see specific examples of her powers instead of off-panel stuff). Worst of all, if she HAD to die couldn't it have been a better sequence? No up-close details are shown, just this Nazi prick pounding away on her. If this isn't a "she's not really dead / we're bringing her back miraculously" type deal, then... well, I think this series might have taken a turn for the worse. Damnit, reading those credits actually killed ME. This is my only "pull list" book nowadays, that's why I'm so miffed...

I'm hoping that she isn't really dead. Like you, I've been waiting to see what it is exactly that she does when she uses her powers and maybe a bit more back story. Either way, you know the coming beatdown is going to be epic.

she is ok. if she died frenchie would have went nuclear. i dont know how he would have known but it feels like she is alive. im not worried. great great series

I was happy when Issue #32 came out. I was wondering about it myself. Anybody else think Stormfront and Payback are gonna get dismembered?
