I am challenging you, Joe, to a debate. Name the time and place on the web. I am naming the subject: Spider-man. I don't hate you Joe. I just don't like what you have done to the character. How do you justify making 20 years of my collection invalid?

Don't hand me that they are still same but happen different stuff either. I don't own those issues just the one's that were printed.

Now Israel has Sabra.England has the above mentioned superheroes, Canada has Wolverine....my question to you is....When will Marvel bring about the Australian representative? Heres hoping. Cheers

Thanks for continuing the Cup O' Joe column.

    A few inquiries...

    - Has there been any thought about doing some movies on the cosmic scene (though I understand you are not really into that)? I was thinking a Nova movie would be awesome.

    - You mentioned in one of your columns that you are more involved with the movies and animation now. Are you also involved with the anime being produced by Madhouse? If so, can you tease us anything about those?

    - I really, really, REALLY miss Seth Fisher. However, I did notice Nicholas Pitarra's work in Astonishing Tales. His is the closest in technique and spirit to Fisher. Any word on what else he might be doing for Marvel and how did you find him?

    - Also like Niko Henrichon's work, anything Marvel in his future (besides covers)?

    Thanks!

    Hi Joe

Do you have any plans to bring back my favorite character Jean Grey? The teasing is getting rather tedious now and she has been dead longer than the likes of Captain America, Hawkeye, and Psylocke. She is one of the most popular X-Women and many would appreciate it once she returns. Thanks.

hi joe please can u help elucidate this:

    [
Jonah Weiland: Zac Goyette asked, "Has Marvel entertained any ideas about altering the format of the books to give more content for the dollar? An example might be using the format that ‘Casanova’ and ‘Fell’ use, but maybe printing the book twice a month. 16 pages of new story with 6-8 pages of ‘back matter’ material in issues for $2.00 or $2.50 twice a month gives 32 pages of new story every month with 12-16 pages of behind the scenes material from guys like Bendis, Fraction, Brubaker, and all the other great creators in your bullpen. I know there are probably things that factor in that I failed to mention, but I'm just throwing out an idea."

Joe Quesada: What you’re asking for is less content for less money. Could we do that? I suppose we could, but isn’t that robbing Peter to pay Paul? The filler material is just that, filler, so I don’t see it as giving more content for the dollar when in fact your getting less, or at best the same for the money your spending. At the end of the day, it’s an illusion. I’d rather give you extra comics content with some back-up stories where we can. To me that’s getting more bang for the buck.
this doesn't make any sense to me

jonah aske about 2 issues per month, at $2 each, each featuring 16 pages of story and 6 pages of backmatter.

so in one month: 2x$2 = $4 (or 3.99 if u must), with 32 pages of story and 12 pages of extras

compared to $3.99 for 23-24 pages of story and lotsa ads

how is that less content for less money?

    Yo, Joe!

Keep the price at $2.99 for your books, including MAX titles, or else I'll boycott Marvel until you see the light.

BTW, reunite Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson if you want to continue printing Spider-Man in the future.

    Dear Joe,

When is Marvel going to get off its collective behind and publish a collection of all of Tim Bradstreet's PUNISHER covers?

(Please no Lois Lane letter page answers like, "Gee, Bobby, Tim's got a lot more Punisher covers coming up before we can think about putting out a collection -- just you wait!")

    Hey Joe,

Here's an interesting idea; for the past few years and events, I think it's fair to say that Bendis has always been something of a "showrunner" (which I'm in full support of, since Mr Bendis is highly talented and impresses time and again). We've had him as the writer of many of the books surrounding Dark Reign, Secret Invasion, House Of M and Avengers: Disassembled. I was wondering if you and the other head honchos at Marvel had anything planned out for other writers to be the "lead writer" (much like "lead singer", for lack of a better term) for events in the future. It'd be very interesting to see Ed Brubaker or Paul Cornell take the reins of the Marvel Universe for some events in the future.

    Thanks for your time,

When can we expect an announcement on Charlie Huston's upcoming projects he's been hinting about?

    Default Art Program

    Hey Joe,

You mentioned in your Cup O'Doodles that you do layout digitally. What program(s) and tablet do you use when doing this? I've always been inclined to use PhotoShop for any art I've done in the past but I recently toyed around with some comic art and just drew using a standard layout pad.

    Thanks,

    -Warren

When will we find out everything about Hope in Cable? Is she an existing character in the Marvel U that we already know?
Just curious will Marvel ever doing anything with the Ultraverse from Malibu?

Default Is MJ Back for Good?

With the impending return of our beloved Mary Jane Watson in ASM #601, I was curious to know if MJ will be sticking around. I've been going through a bit of MJ withdrawl since her last appearance in ASM #561, and am very hopeful to see MJ in Peter's life on a more regular basis.
