I'll have to disagree with you about M, but Roberto had been portrayed much darker as seen in the various scans in this thread.

gen-x M is a lot darker than she is now, especially the earlier issues.

Which artists have been your favorite to portray Sunspot?

I really liked Jim Cheung's take on him. It is a lot more representative of his original portrayal.



Other than the coloring issue, the current New Mutants penciler does a great Roberto as well.

It could be possible. He was a soccer player after all. He was sure to have spent a lot of time out in the sun. I don't think that is the case though.

yeah but at least i i have proof he was darker when he was younger...you don't sides...have you seen his dead.....homie is DARK...and he was drawn with predominantly African features, curly hair, wider nose, and thick lips....look at how he is now...he must go to the same plastic surgeon mj does...lol

Seriously, I think brown ink must be too expensive to use in comics. because it sure isn't used a lot.
