This mind-blowing. The possibilities of this book are near enough endless. Just imagine Cyberforce vs The Four! Overt-Kill vs ShadowHawk! Youngblood vs The Regulators! Dragon vs The Darkness! Fortress vs whoever! This could be the most amazing book ever. Or... it could take 4 years to come out and noone remembers that it was announced. I'm going to say this is going to be a big hit, though.

Looking forward to this one, Kirkman writing and the promise of McFarlane artwork has me sold.

I said on the Image board it could be really cool... or Deathmate. But seeing some of the more obscure characters is something I'm looking forward too. Another thing that could be interesting is how the layouts will effect the other guys styles. McFarlane is known for some crazy layouts and Larsen knows how to lay out some really cool action scenes.

Wouldn't mind seeing some preview pages though. Apparently they showed two of them at the Con.

The character has the same feel as the old Jim Lee/Portacio Characters, kind of like Union (Who I'm not sure which one created back in the day, but was definitely under the WildStorm banner).

The way Kirkman was getting on Todd about not drawing anything any more and his comments about how the 90s Image superheroes slipped due to delays like that, I don't see him letting these guys get away with not doing this on-time for 2009.

If ShadowHawk is in this consider me sold, I honestly don't remember the last Image comic I ever bought but this might be something that gets me back into the Image Universe.

According to Valentino both Shadowhawks are in it.

The story could span over several "years" since both ShadowHawks are mentioned and an older incarnation of Youngblood is pictured. Elements of the story could be shown to have occurred in the early 90s Image Universe through flashbacks or some other elements. Or it could be some kind of universe/time spanning event that has all the characters coliding from different eras.

I would also like to say, I like the idea of using Portacio's new character as a centerpiece of the story as it will help to integrate the character into the Image Universe and place him in a position of importance in said universe on par with that of Spawn, Savage Dragon, Witchblade, etc.

Plus, Dragon's shown in his police uniform and he's not been a cop for years now. I'd say either flashbacks or time-travel seems likely. Also, isn't there a new Witchblade? Impact of Cyberforce is now dead too and he's on the cover (although almost all of that team seems to have died and come back by now, so he may've too).

Any chance we could see Dale Keown's Pitt thrown in there? That would be hella sweet.

I wouldn't say never but this is looking like Kirkman and the founders right now.

It'd be cool if they manage to get Dale Keown to draw a few Pitt shots but they already have enough things to worry about.

Who knows issue 6 could have everyone from Invincible to Madman to the Amazing Joy Buzzards?

As a sold out Image Pimp I am on board with this one.... really good things could come from this thing. I prefer to ignore GRANT!'s comment about Deathmate, somethings should just be forgotten.
