i would realy like to read the unpublished 8 issues of Nth Man, that book was at least 10 years ahead of its time... (Marvel should seriously get that into some kind of collection)

I agree. NTH MAN is one of my favorite characters. Of course this will most likely not happen anytime soon, since the current "geniuses" running Marvel won't put out a NTH MAN trade since Hama isn't considered to be a "hot" writer.

BTW, do you remember that cool issue of the first EXCALIBUR series where Nth Man guest starred in? That was a fun issue that came about because Claremont was a huge fan of the NTH MAN series.

What a cool interview. And an even cooler guy. I would give my right arm for a Larry Hama autograph.

I treasure my raggedy old run of Nth Man like nothing else! Larry Hama + Ron Wagner = comic gold. This was shortly after their run together on G.I.Joe, issues that first got me into comics back in the day... I didn't know Nth Man was mapped out for another 10 issues, #16 had a pretty definitive ending, (though alot transpired storywise over the last few issues).

It's no wonder that Snake Eyes is such a popular character; with no voice and no face he's whittled down to nothing but pure action. But those attributes must also make him a difficult character to work with. It's a credit to Hama's writing that Snake Eyes always came across as a fully rounded character and not just some walking weapon.

    Ditto, I loved that book!

Hama's GI Joe stories still hold up after all this time. I sold my singles long ago, but am buying the reprint trades...good stuff!

And on the adverse side, I'll never sell my JOE comics (the whole Marvel run). They're what got me into comic books in the first place. Plus I got 'em signed by tons of people - Hama, Trimpe, Vosburg, Zeck, Golden, Emberlin, Garney, Batista...

Still kicking myself for not picking up the last few issues of gi joe.

I deeply treasure my Nth man issues too, havent been able to get the last few issues, but importing comics to South Africa is prohibitively expensive, but i'll get them eventually.

I too would love Larry Hama's autograph, his Wolverine, Gi Joe and Nth Man rocked my world.

I am not ashamed to say that G.I.Joe is still my favorite comic book series. I was seriously hooked on comics after I received issue #1 for Christmas in 1983, a little over a year after it had been out.

The only reason you should be upset about that is because they're apparently worth a lot. The last issue was great, but the few before it were pretty crappy fill-ins by other creators.

I think the missing issues were kind of in the middle. Remember the jump forward?

I would love it if, Larry Hama and Ron Wagner got the chance to go back and do the missing issues of Nth Man and get a huge graphic novel of the whole story.

I reread that series at least once a year.
