Yes, very nice! I may have to add that one to the collection on my walls. Logan looks a bit too "pretty" for my tastes, but I do like Kurt. You can't make him pretty enough to bother me.

BTW, if anyone read my short story about Kurt's death in the comics, I did add another, even shorter, chapter to it the other day. It was meant as a one-shot, but I realized there was another person needing to be heard besides Hope herself. (None of my usual graphic sex, only the assumption that Logan and Kurt were lovers.)

It can be found at: http://xmen.adultfanfiction.net/story.php?no=600090809

You know, Karl, I think, this is exceptionally good story. I really like you taking on Wolverine. Aside from being Kurt's lover, it is just the Logan I like. Wish he would be more like that in comics nowadays.

    Dark Falcon,
Glad you liked it. The ending almost brought tears to my eyes when I first wrote it.
As I've said a few times in this thread, I do think there has been some change in Logan's behavior since Kurt died, if you follow the events in Uncanny X-Force and the new Wolverine title. But he's still far from being an innocent good guy. But then, he wouldn't be Logan if he changed too much, would he?
Most of my stories are set in the movieverse, where he's not portrayed as being quite as ruthless as in the comics, but I have been trying to deal with that aspect of his character even so. It brings up some difficult questions.

No ones posted here in months! Wonder what Logan thinks of Doom tempting to bring back his dead best bud? I've noticed this hasn't been moved to the appreciation threads forum.

By the looks of the action poses they're in, I don't think Doom is brining them back, just showing off what he has to "offer."

I hate to say it, but they're just jerking us around.

    Devilish Rogue,
Ohh, I like that one! They look so happy together. Did Crow draw that recently, or is it an old one you found?
I'll probably add it to the huge collection of Logurt stuff on my bedroom wall.

    It's beautiful !
Also, for you, when Kurt will come back and if he's angry (about x-force, Mystique...) what should Logan do for that Kurt forgive his mistakes ? Does Kurt should forgive him or not?

Will be the occassion of a short series about them where they will be reconciled at the end (like avengers premium between Tony and Steves ...) ?

I think that in time, Kurt would be able to forgive Logan. To trust Logan again, is another matter.

He may have always been presented as an outlaw, but he had a code of conduct and sense of right and wrong and had some sympathy toward others. Under writers like Claremont, he was developing over a character arc. Logan was like an old gunslinger in a Sam Peckinpah movie. Now, while Jason Aaron seems to have tried to move the character forward, much of that character growth has been tossed to the wind. Other writers, Yost and Kyle in particular, regressed him into someone who would smile while slicing the top of someones head after torturing them or executing and unarmed prisoner in the middle of the highway. Even before all this he was using Kurt as a drive-through confessional between vendettas and blood baths from Japan to Madripoor. Just because he's rebuilt the school doesn't mean that he's changed that much. Although the mission statement has changed a little, he's still running his own version of X-Force.

Kurt may be willing to swing in to help Logan in time of immediate crisis, but to have them being friends again anytime soon - if ever - would make Kurt look like a spineless chump. And after undergoing what would be an extremely traumatic event during Second Coming and finding out what Logan did to Mystique even though she betrayed the Red Right Hand to help him, Wagner is going to have to make some choices about who he associates with. Otherwise, he's just inviting more problems into his life and of those he loves and cares for.

Nobody is perfect and it would be a bummer for the friendship to end, but as they say, "Ya' lie with dogs, you're gonna get fleas."

For anyone interested, I've put up the first part of a story about Kurt Darkhölme on FanFiction.net. It can also be read as a one-shot featuring he and Logan. This first part starts to explore a remembered friendship that meant the world to one man, and never existed
for the other. The link is here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7953459/1/Kaliedoscope

Anyone who decides to read it, tell me what you think.

Claremont really does them best, especially with an artist/collaborator who appreciates both characters. Alan Davis, Paul Smith, John Bolton, and John Byrne did some of my favorite Logan/Kurt moments in the past. :)
