I like Todd Nauck, but this is freaking ridiculous. I'm not a big Obama fan, but I will give him a chance. What I can't stand is this idolizing and iconiziation of him. It's like he's already the fifth head on Mount Rushmore. Give us, and the man himself, a break.

Plus it's cliche by now. It's like holofoil chromium covers in the 90s. It's become a cheap gimmick. The only one that I'm really interested in is the Barack the Barbarian because it sounds like pretty good satire. Plus Larry Hama is on it.

Meanwhile, speaking of icons, hasn't Bruce Campbell refused to sign Dynamite AoD comics because Rami and he didn't like how the licensing deal went down and how they were pretty much left out of it?

After Death of a President, a movie that was abotu President Bush's assassination, after the book that was circulated during the 2004 Republican convention by the protesters that explained how to assassinated President Bush, after Black Summer, a 'comic book' which was about a 'hero' who slaughters President Bush and his Administration...

Ok, beyond the fact he's messed up beyond anyone I will say that this Obama love fest in comics is getting to the point where it's obscene and for the first time in nearly 20 years of collecting it's making me lose interest in my favorite hobby. It's to much and it needs to stop.

The left didn't show respect because the right picked a man who never ever compromised. Obama is trying to work with both sides, so there's a bit of a difference. But all of that is besides the point, no one is being forced to buy these damn comics. I mean Josh Howard tosses his religious beliefs into his work sometimes, and I'm pretty much anti christianity, but I don't go around bitching that comic book writers infuse their religious beliefs into comics. Why? Because I'm not being forced to buy them. If these men were pushing laws on me that were based on their religious beliefs (such as the pro life agenda/prop 8), that would be an entirely different thing
