    Default 4.99$ Page count

How big are the 4.99$ books that came with Thor #600, soon Captain America #600,Daredevil #500 and such. They all say 4.99$ and 104 pages, but online I read it was only double sized, so isnt that only 64 pages?

Also, will they go back to 2.99$ as usual? Or stick with 3.99$ for 32 pages like Thor?

New Avengers 50 was the worst, I felt rip off that it was just about 36 pages or more and the last 8 pages were just a preivew of fantastic four dark reign. 5.99 for this?

I tell you, my solution to all these price hikes?

Every comic should become bi-monthly over-sized 104 pages at just $4.99 each, this would be cheaper for us in the long run, cheaper for Marvel to produce and would cut down delays as well, everyone would be happy.

Until the next price hike that is.

4.99$ does not bother me if it's a special oversized issue. Thor 600 was well worth it, I'm probably gonna check out Daredevil too and of course I'm getting Cap America 600 as well.

ASM was announced as having 104 pages.
THOR apparently had the same page count.
Dunno about DD or CAP's big issues.

....so at least Marvel hasn't changed the price point for the 100+ page comics.

How much was it before? For 100 pages comics?
    Back in the days , I think it was 2.99 - 32 pages , 3.99 - 48 pages , 4.99$ 64pages?

I was referring to the 100-Page Monsters that Marvel was going about 10 years ago - those were $4.99, IIRC.

i remember thor being really worth it. the issue was great (as usual), but they also threw in a bunch of other stuff in as well. A short story written by Stan Lee for one. You actually did get what you needed out of that one.

Yeah, it was a double-sized main issue, plus a bunch of really fun back matter. The Stan Lee story was beautifully drawn, the reprints were worth reading, and stuff like the Mini Marvels take on recent Thor issues.

I expect Captain America and Daredevil to be similar. I know the Captain America #600 has a longer-than-normal opening issue, plus new stories by Roger Stern and Mark Waid, plus that Heroes Reborn Bucky story, plus a written piece by Joe Simon, etc. And if they get anywhere near the artist roster they did for Daredevil 100 for the 500th issue it'll be worth it to me.

Its main feature, besides the main Brubaker/Lark story, is a David Aja (IMMORTAL IRON FIST) backup written Ann Nocenti (who I don't think has written a comic book since she left DAREDEVIL about 20 years ago!)

I also see Geof Darrow (HARD BOILED, BIG GUY & RUSTY THE BOY ROBOT) is doing a variant cover. This would be his first work for Marvel, too.

I think someone at Marvel said that Bru's main story in 600 is like 40 pages. I bet the other 2 stories (Waid and Stern) will be like 12 each. Super stoked for this to come out and then to find out what Reborn is all about.

ASM 600 will be just as good. The main story by Slott/JRJr is like 60 pages! Smaller stories by other members of the "brain trust" and NO REPRINTS!

Amazing Spider-Man #600 will be $4.99 for 104 pages of completely new material.
