    WRONG GREEN DUDE!

also wrong powerless DC Goldenage character!

Why can't Kevin just return to Green Arrow and make everyone happy?

Hmm... I wonder if 10 years from now, Kevin will be writing "Green Lantern"?

Seriously though, Kevin is an amazing talent and I look forward to everything he does. I just REALLY wish he'd go back to Marvel and write some stuff there!

Default CBR: Kevin Smith to Write "Green Hornet"

I can dig it. I've loved Dynamite's treatment of LONE RANGER so I'm interested in what they and Smith can do with GREEN HORNET.

Talking Is It Easy Writing Green?

I'll have to dig out my NOW Comics Green Hornet issues.
This could be pretty good. Haven't read his Green Arrow stuff...

Don't I recall Kevin Smith already failing with Green Hornet once before?

You've got a couple stories mixed up. If I remember, he was originally in talk to write, direct, and start in a Green Hornet film. This never fell through though. I think he talked about it in one of the Evening with Kevin Smith movies.

How many issues can he do before we're waiting years for him to do more?

Well I'm being optimistic seeing as he isn't writting a screenplay for his next movie (he's directing someone else's script) and since he labours so much on his scripts and their drafts it's no wonder he couldn't put in time to write the comics he was set to. The only question is if the fact he will be directing a film get in the way? Well maybe it just means half the time it usually takes to delay the finish of one of his runs or minis is how long it will take this time.

    Default Continuity Issues

I wonder what Kevin Smith's credibility will be on Green Hornet! I wasn't crazy about his stint on Green Arrow, though I didn't read his run on Daredevil.

I can see that his rendition isn't consistant with any other continuities that was so well done with Now Comics. Kato is a female again, which will probably get a lot of flack from The Trendle Family. I hope that it will be considered as the 4th generation of the Now Comics' lineage!

I do like the new outfit however!

Let the countdown for the first blown deadline begin.

Don't be to quick to say he'll miss it. Take Ultimate Hulk for example. That guy was busy writing Lost, but did he ever miss a deadline?

No but they did put it on hold for like two years becasue he had to work on Lost. They just basically put it on hold before the first deadline got missed so they could say that a deadline wasn't missed when there really isn't that big a diffrence. But didn't Batman: Cocophany get out on time?

I think so, but its been so long ago! If that is a fact, it would be great to have the story continue with Dynamite's publishing!
