I don't think they know. At all. The 'Presents' issue made it clear that he was hiding this quest from them. As far as they knew, for CC, he was at the Avengers mansion being evaluated.

Which is probably all true. But if you look at it from his parent's point of view, it still must be painful.

If the Kaplans are/were GOOD parents(?)...they would support Billy's investigation and WANT TO KNOW themselves, how/what/when this connection to Wanda came about.
Was it at birth? After birth? During his teens? And if so... should the Kaplans be mad at Wanda?

It started during the Heroic Age, it ended right before AvX.

That's a full 2 years.

It was infuriating! This is why I was so irate when Uncanny Avengers started pushing back release dates. With CC one month became three or four, until I just gave up waiting for them and was excited to see them if/when they came. I was worried that UA was heading down the same path. :/

Being right and being likeable are not necessarily connected. She may have been right; but she handled it badly, which made her very unlikely. Do you honestly think Cassie's mum is sitting at home going "If only I had shouted louder, or more often... this wouldn't have happened..."


The thing is IF we need to explore the harpy's "feelings" it would be best to do in FF; NOT Young Avengers.

Hehe indeed Well, if the 'harpy' were to come on Young Avengers, the most I can think of is the YA paying their respects and she vents and angrily shuts the door on them or something. But ultimately, this kind of development as said is best suited for the book with Scott Lang actually in it namely FF. Whether it actually happens or not though is a different thing. If it does feature, it will be a background thing for Lang as I can't picture an entire book just to see Scott and his ex having an argument. Would be... quite boring for readers I think.
