I'm pretty glad he's going to be on a team with both Rogue and Wolverine. They're the two X-Men he's the "closest" too. The only other X-Man I can think of is Iceman. I'm especially interested in seeing what he confrontation with Rogue will be like since I think the last time he saw her was while he was dying and she absorbed his powers.
It depends on who's drawing it. I don't think Cassadays version looks particularly good. I like it best when you can see his mouth like in j9ac9k's version.
I think the AoA look is cool for the AoA version of the character but I definitely prefer his original look in the 616.
Here's one of my favorite sketch cards for obvious reasons, by Jason Keith Phillips. Turn the sound down, before visiting his site.

Ponytail Shiro was hot. Though I could do without the giant solar shoulderpads, or whatever they were.
Here's a sketch card, front and back, that I commissioned from Jason Keith Phillips -- hence the back of the card saying "Thank You!" We all know that Shiro doesn't do "Thank You!"
I love how Jason makes everything intense and larger than life about Sunfire, right down to the clenched teeth.

I like his OG costume the best.
Any good stories featuring Shiro from the early to mid 90's?I am becoming rather fond of that era.
I am not an Avengers fan nor an X-Men fan.I am a Marvel fan for life.

That's awesome! That's total Shiro bitchface right there.
He didn't appear a ton in the early 90's but the few appearances he made were pretty good. These are the most notable.
New Mutant's #93-94. He helps Cable and the New Mutants fight the MLF.
Uncanny X-Men #284-286. His powers increase and he begins wearing new armor. This is also where he first appears with the ponytail.
Wolverine 2nd Series #55-57 and 60. He helps Wolverine fight the Hand.
Sunfire & Big Hero 6 #1-3. This was late 90's I believe but definitely one of my favorite Sunfire stories. I highly recommend!
^Thanks man I'll try to check those out.
