Well, from what I've come to understand, anyone who's not Sean McKeever writing TEEN TITANS is a step up......right? (That preview of this week's issue at Newsarama is just dreadful, btw).

Meanwhile, SMALLVILLE has been fascinatingly good this season, so I'll give this guy a chance in his comics career.

While I agree this crossover sucks.... Most of Sean's issues were pretty good... I'm actually dissappointed to see him go so soon after finally establishing a new roster.....
All stories are imaginary, so you get to decide what's important and what isn't. Continuity is fluid.

You do realize bad comic writers come from all fields right?

Lots of bad novelists turned comic writers, bad screenwriters, bad TV guys...who do you suggest they hire? High School kids?

I wont even go into the people who work in TV who are currently doing excellent comic book work.

I agree. Once everything got established and I got used to the team, I really enjoyed his run.

Still nervous. Haven't watched Smallville in years. And despite a handful of TV writer's & novelists writing decent comics - most have not been that great writing comics. Although this Bryan Q. Miller seems like a nice guy based on this interview...

The title of the interview is misleading though. He doesn't say a thing about Batgirl, other than the fact he's writing it--which we already knew.

    Default Miller is a hack

This guy is a hack! He's screwed up what he's done on Smallville and I can't believe DC would hire a writer of such low caliber. I expect that from Smallville but I expected better from DC. He should be dumped not hired to do more damage.

It almost seems these days that the best way to break into comics is to break into TV first...

    Pros:
    - I think he's got an accurate read on Wonder Girl--at least as she's been written the past few years.
    - I liked the Zatanna story on Smallville.

    Cons:
    - Boy does he have TERRIBLE taste in comic books. He actually liked the Tim/Cassie/Connor triangle? The Insiders arc is his favorite?!?!? Ugh Ugh Ugh Ugh Ugh.

Right now, anyone could probably write Teen Titans and improve the book.

It's a shame how long I've been reading it and how just average it's been at best.
